The Room & Joy Brookside Queen Headboard is the perfect bedroom addition to enhance your home’s country style. The sturdy laminated MDF and particleboard Headboard has large decorative panels to give it an authentic farmhouse look. This Headboard comes equipped with multiple pre-drilled holes to fit many types of queen-sized bed frames (not included). The Brookside Queen Headboard ships flat to your door and requires assembly upon opening. Two adults are recommended for assembly. Upon assembly, the Queen Headboard measures to be 48.3125”H x 65.75”W x 2.75”D.

The color is exactly as pictured. Not too hard to put together. You get why you pay for, so the laminate is kind of cheap looking and wrinkled in some place. The top piece doesn’t fit on well and the crosses didn’t fit together great. All in all, fine for my 2 year olds first headboard, but I wouldn’t buy it again.

Do not buy this headboard! The assembly could have been very simple except the pre-drilled screw holes on one side did not line up. We had to drill new holes, which was tricky to do in the soft particle board. The top piece did not stay in place, so we had to screw it on from the top, which was not the most attractive. The faux wood look is actually like a contact paper and was bubbled in a few places. Unfortunately I needed this right away since guests were arriving, otherwise I would have returned it.
