Brookstone Shiatsu Foot and Calf Massager with Air Compression and Soothing Heat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that I have the opportunity to try this massager out. It is relaxing and feels nice, especially being pregnant in my third trimester. I do have some criticisms - the heating feature does not work and there is no way to adjust pressure, so I find myself sometimes having to push my feet or legs down if I want more pressure. I like that it turns itself off after 15 minutes. My kids love it so that feature is a must!

This foot and calf massager is great after a long day on your feet or just to add to your nighttime routine to help you relax. It is very simple to use, comes with a handle on each side, and has a stand on the bottom to adjust the way it sits on the floor. The foot and calf massage functions can be used together or seperately. Each has their own settings of slow, mid, or fast to customize it to your preferences. The massager automatically starts a 15 minute timer when started and cycles through 2 different types of massage. It goes back and forth between a kneading type massage and a percussion like massage. The only cons I have found about the massager is that I tend to have to shift my feet and legs back because they will start moving forward after a couple minutes. Also, it comes with a heat function that only seems to be in the very front of the machine and hard to actually feel the warmth of it. I thought it may be just because i have small feet, but my fiance who is a size 12-13 in mens shoes says he does not really feel the heat either. I do however have high hopes that the heat function will be nice in the winter after being out in the snow.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are Disney people. Locals to Walt Disney World who frequent the parks. This Brookstone Shiatsu Foot Calf Massager is perfect for our household! After a long day/night of walking, it’s nice to come home to this machine. Now is it perfect? No. I do wish the pressure was a bit stronger. I don’t always feel that calf massaging effects. It’s sometimes difficult to keep your feet and legs in it properly to get the relief you’re looking for as far as the calves are concerned. Positioning the feet is a bit easier, they usually stay in place and you can always feel the massaging effects on the feet, sometimes they can actually be a bit too intense if you have sensitive feet, but if you’ve been on your feet all day, while it may hurt at first, it feels wonderful afterwards. I love that it’s automatically timed for 15 minutes of massage but that you can stop it if you’d like. I like that there is a heat option, though I don’t feel like I feel it too much. You can adjust the massage speed, individually, on the legs and feet, from slow, mid & fast. I like that I can pick those options and that it’s separate and doesn’t apply to both areas. You can also choose to only massage feet or only massage calves. The machine itself is rather big in size but lightweight so it’s easy to move. It has an adjustable tilt, which is nice. I also love that the liners are removable to be washed, especially when we have company in town who also want to use it after a long day at the Disney parks! I would recommend this machine if you’re in the market for one. My only wish it that the air compression was a little more intense sometimes but other than that, this is a great foot & calf massager. I also recommend not using it too much, it feels better and works better when used only when necessary. Oh and it also has two handles, one on each side for easy moving. It is big and bulky, but we leave it out anyways because we use it so much.

It’s also extremely difficult to store it in my home bc it’s so large. My father is a diabetic so I’m going to send it over for him to try. I’m sure he will love it but as a 34 yrs old woman I really don’t have much use for it but glad to have just Incase. The lights are also so bright! It nearly blinds you while trying to relax. Product seems to be made well. No issues .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Brookstone Shiatsu foot and calf massager has been a nice addition to have around our home. I have chronic pain in my legs from an autoimmune disorder and sometimes they will ache for hours at a time. The compression and heat from this massager are pretty decent at reducing the pain. I like that there are different intensity modes and that the machine isn’t too heavy so you can move it around if needed. The main reason I took away a star is because the cord is really too short in my opinion. I have to strain to get it to fit in a reasonable spot. Also, the calf area is really hard to keep your legs in place in. The compression moves then around quite a bit. Overall though it’s a very well made massager and it has a lot of features that make it desirable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is great for at home treat every night. I like the idea it has a calf massager and foot. It has three controls of pressure and optional heat. It’s also has removable inserts to wash and easy to clean. I gave it a 4 out of 5 just because the leg/calf massager part can barely be felt and if you crank it up then it almost feels pinched just couldn’t find a happy medium but it could just be my preference or I haven’t gotten used to it yet! Overall great gift and my feet feel so refreshed and better.

It truly is multilevel functioning! When I initially received my package I thought this product was going to be heavy to lift, since the box was fairly large but boy was I wrong!! It has 2 convenient handles on the top right and left side so it is light and very easy to carry. You can move this portable machine wherever is convenient for you to get massaged, without the hassle! I LOVE THAT!!! It is very Very quiet!! There are 2 massage modes, 3 intensity levels: slow, medium, and fast- with the option for heat! What more could you ask for? It has a helpful timer that counts down, to confirm how much time you want to spend relaxing. The duration for each session is approximately 15 minutes. You can choose feet, legs, or both and also choose with or without heat. The patterns change throughout the cycle as well, which is wonderful because you don’t get tired of the same motion. Did I mention there is a removable liner so if some one decides to use it (maybe you have a husband or teenage son that may or may not have stinky feet lol) I can unzip the liner and throw it in the wash!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 4 kids so I am constantly on my feet playing with them, cleaning, cooking, etc. This is great at the end of the night for a little relaxation time. Set it up in your favorite spot and watch tv or read a book while it massages. My only complaints, just 2, are that the power cord is very short so you either need to be close to an outlet or use an extension cord, and that the heat feature is not very strong. When I use it I can barely feel any warmth but when I have used it my feet have been warm so maybe it would feel warmer if my feet were cold.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was gifted the Brookstone Shiatsu Foot Calf Massager, in return for my honest review. After using it I have to say it feels absolutely amazing! After being on my feet all day as a teacher, it feels amazing to come home and not have to ask my husband to rub my feet and legs. It’s simple to use. Just kick back, it ends on it’s own (no need to worry about how long for use) My only issue is that I feel like my feet/legs are too small…like there is sooooooo much room inside (once you place yourself inside) I had my husband try it, obviously his feet/legs are bigger…but he said the same thing. Regardless it still felt amazing! Definitely a must have for anyone who has a job where they are on their feet all day!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very satisfied with the performance of Brookstone Shiatsu Foot Calf Massager. It makes my foot and calf feel amazing after a long walk/run, and it has helping reducing the swollen I usually get. The massager is a bulkier compared to a regular foot massager (no calf) and is not too heavy to carry around the house because there are two side handles that makes easier and convenient. The settings are easy to use and control the massage intensity (slow/mid/fast) and the heating function is nice. Another cool thing is the massager has a bracket at the bottom which allows a tilted position, so you can use while seating on a chair or couch. Overall, I think this is a great massager to relax and reduce the heaviness we feel on the lower leg, it is not very intense (for pain purposes).
