Brother ScanNCut DX Fabric Mat, 12" x 12"

I'll try to cut a clear Koala brand vinyl and everything seemed to work fine, but in the end this was a disaster, the mat just fell apart on the second use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These mats are great. However, two things could be improved. They require frequent cleaning and there is not a 12x24 version. Longer versions would be helpful for cutting strips.i use this for quilting pieces because of the precision. Precision with long strips would make this a perfect accessory.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product from brother in exchange for a review. I do own a brother scan n cut machine. I never used fabric before receding this mat. It is very sticky which is good for fabric since if it comes loose it can mess up your machine. Simple to use just peal away the plastic covering and apply your fabric. Make sure to press down and lump in fabric.

This mat fits so well and helps get a nice precise cut. The tact on this mat last and is also very easy to clean. Having this has simplified things and has allowed me to have time to make so many more mask.

I do wish these mats did a better job of not picking up all the dust and misc. debris that tend to stick to the back of media, but it's not a huge problem.

The mat enables me to scan shapes to the machine so they become cutting files, scan delicate images to a USB, and scan small items that would otherwise be impossible to scan. Such a helpful addition to my ScanNCut arsenal. If you don’t have one you’re missing out.

It has a transparent cover and helps me cut my patterns wonderfully. I enjoy making patterns for dolls and this mat makes it so simple to do. They come out perfectly. It's also very easy to install and use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I work on crafts with my brother machine and I started working with fabric and this has come in handy. I have been able to cute designs out for bags that I make and aprons. This makes the cutest cut designs that I have ever seen and so easy to use.

Using my new fabric mat for my scan and cut DX after cutting two of the built in quilt blocks, not using a stabilizer, it has lost its tackiness. I am finding that while using the pen and then the cutting blade for fabric, the fabric often lifts off of the mat creating a mess. I've tried cleaning the mat with baby wipes and I always am careful when putting the mat back in the packaging when not in use. Don't know if I am doing something wrong. I have tried to find instruction video on how this is to be used but haven't found anything.

The new fabric mat make cutting fabric without an adhesive backing so much easier. Yes, I am a Brother Ambassador, but I would recommend it even if I weren't. It has a super grip, the fabric stays secure and the fabric cuts cleanly.
