The number of pages that can be printed with a cartridge is affected by several factors, including paper size, number of pages per print job, amount of print on each page, font size, and print content (graphics, charts, etc.). Print jobs with large text fonts, graphics, charts, and/or large amount of solid coverage (black or any given color) will use much more toner and will shorten the life of the toner cartridge. Please be advised the Brother Printers when first purcahse they come with a Starter Toner that yeild approx. 700 pages. Genuine Brother toner cartridges are produced with a specific amount of toner to yield the following: TN Starter Toner - approx. 700 pages TN730 Standard Toner - approx. 1,200 pages* TN760 High Yield Toner - approx. 3,000 pages* TN770 Super High Yield Toner - approx. 4,500 pages* *The approximate toner yield is in accordance with ISO/IEC 19752. The number of pages that can be printed with a toner cartridge is affected by several factors, including paper size, number of pages per print job, amount of print on each page, font size, and print content (graphics, charts, etc.). It's important to remember that a typical printed document is one letter-size (8.5" x 11") page with 4% - 5% print coverage. We are happy to hear that you are enjoying your printer. The TN730 cartridge has a yield of 1200 pages, if you need to print longer with a toner for your printer, we recommend getting the TN760 model of high yield toner that can print up to 3000 pages. Thank you!
