The book is nice, color vibrant. But it arrived in bent, curl up condition. Hard to give it as a gift.

My toddler has been going through books fast as she has been more destructive with them in this phase (early 2's!) but this one is so sturdy and is holding up well! It's bigger than expected and she loves the little windows that open and it encourages remembering what's on the next page and saying it before she gets to it.

My 5 month old loved looking at the pictures while his dad was reading to him. I can tell he’ll enjoy this book as he grows older.

I love this book, but the first time I purchased it it fell apart. So I just bought another since my daughter loves it. First time reading the new one the binding fell apart once again. Now the book is in pieces and we hadn’t even owned it for more than 10 minutes.

my 16 month old literally reads this book to herself. as well as my three year old who has speech delay and has trouble speaking in long full sentences, she has memorized the animals and the saying like “ brown bear brown bear what do you say , i see a red bird looking at me “ it makes me so happy hearing her.

All 3 of my kids have loved this book as babies/toddlers. It makes a great gift for a 1 year old birthday or baby shower. The doors are easy enough for my kids to slide open at 1 year old- and they love sliding the doors open to peek at the next animal. We have purchased this book 3 or 4 times and my kids loved to read it over and over as babies.

From the time my grandkids were about 6 months old I began reading this book. As they became able, they LOVED being able to open and close the little windows on each page and they never tired of showing surprise at just which animal would show up in the window. We read it together for years and it remained a favorite. It broke my heart when they graduated to older kids books. I made sure to pass this one on to another young family to love. God bless Eric Carle. This one is a winner!

All my children adore this book and I even purchased it for a friends baby shower. Perfect for 12-18month olds who are just starting to get interested with books. Interactive books are best for little ones to stay engaged.

This slide and see version of the book doesn’t include the last page which lists all of the animals. It ends with the teacher seeing the children. My son was disappointed as that is his favorite page to see them all together.
