[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the bottle/packaging for this scotch. It is very nice and would make a great gift. Upon first opening, it has a nice smell...very sweet, but the sweetness ends there. It does not have any heat to it. Everyone who tried it liked it and enjoyed it. It's a little pricey, however.

It has a great flavor, finishes clean, and is even better with a couple cubes, and a pretty countryside sunset. The bottle casket is nice. It even has a nice stopper ring to prevent just dropping the bottle in, like we all do. I wish I could give a 4.5 instead of only 4 stars. Try it. You won't be disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I generally prefer bourbon or rye to scotch as scotch often bangs you over the head with its smokey peatiness. Not so with the Bruichladdich (brook-LADDIE) Classic Laddie! It’s unpeated, which makes it a great Scotch for those who also favor bourbon. (Look to the Bruichladdich Port Charlotte if you like a peat-forward scotch). I think this would make a great whiskey sour, and it doesn’t hurt that the bottle is also a lovely color.

I got the opportunity to try out the Bruichladdich The classic Laddie single malt scotch whiskey and I was quite impressed with the flavor and aroma of the whiskey! This is a really smooth and balanced yet versatile whiskey. The packaging was extremely simple and minimalist. I guess you are paying for the whiskey itself and not the packaging! Simply loved it!

It’s more costly than some of the more popular brands. I would definitely consider it in the future as a gift for a scotch fan. I prefer it on the rocks. I do like the packaging and the bottle color is beautiful. Give it a try it might be your new favorite.

I do appreciate all the flavors that create its complexity, smells delicious too. Seems expensive but this is high quality ish. This is a great addition to your bar counter.

This whiskey is not peaty at all, although they do have that version, I prefer this one the most. Goes down very smooth, light hints of some fruitiness there but on the rocks it is solid. I find it quite good for the price compared to others around the same level.

The price is a good price knowing that I am getting a good quality of whiskey. It has a good aroma like a smokey flavor, I feel this is a good drink after a long week at work to help you wind down. I love the color of this bottle and would purchase it again especially for a special occasion to share with family and friends. It is well packaged in a beautiful can which could be a souvenir or keepsake.

This is unpeated, so it means there is no smoky profile that you would normally get from a Bruichladdich, so it is a great introduction whisky for beginners trying out the distillery. It is bottled at 50% abv, which is slightly higher than most normal whisky that everyone usually drinks, so don't fret if you start to think you might be a light weight. Overall, I love this distillery and love that they have an unpeated version to start introducing new people to.
