Brussels Sprouts - 12oz - Good & Gather™

It's 50/50 whether I will receive a bag of relatively decent sprouts or a bag where most of them are rotten. Either way, these are NOT ready to steam. I can't imagine just blindly throwing the bag in the microwave and eating it like they recommend. It's good I only eat them roasted. They are always dirty, untrimmed, and sometimes, have dead bugs deep in the leaves. After thoroughly rinsing and trimming I am left with 1/2 to 3/4 of the original weight. These are only good when you just want the convenience of a drive-up order. Any other time, it's far better (and cheaper!) to just get them at a regular supermarket.

I’ve bought these many times and they used to be fresh. Recently I’ve gotten bags with dirt and bugs in between every little leaf. I am very grossed out and disappointed that these even made it to store shelves. They were part of a drive up order or I would’ve noticed the holes and dirt immediately. I was hoping some were salvageable but I had to throw out two whole bags. I hope target gets this fixed because they are advertised as washed and ready to eat but are not even safe to consume. Hope this helps those doing online grocery orders!

Full of maggots. All of their fresh items have had maggots and they do nothing about it. Absolutely disgusting!!!!

Second time I’ve purchased these Brussels and they are covered in dirt and bugs (cabbage worms I believe). They are definitely NOT washed and ready to eat as advertised

These consistently contain many sprouts infested with bugs. I am only able to use about half of these once I’ve tossed the bad ones.

These are not trimmed in the slightest. Didn't have a problem with dirt/bugs like other users, but just the fact that you're likely being upcharged for the convenience, but they aren't actually ready to use is extremely disappointing

Again, the bag says ready to eat, alot of worms in them, once cleaned only 5 ounces of the 12 left to cook!

I wish I could put no stars but please DO NOT buy this product. It contains bugs and dirt. The title “throughly cleaned and ready to eat” is soooo misleading. I hope others didn’t take the benefit of the doubt and didn’t eat them without cutting them in half first. To be honest I probably would’ve in the same boat but thankfully I looked at the reviews first.

This is a single serving size. The quality of these was not good and they are very small once the bottom is cut off.

There were bugs all throughout the bag on on the produce. I rinsed and washed them, but had not seen anything so bad I had to through the whole bag out!!

Ordered from pickup at Target and they gave me 2 bags of rotten Brussels sprouts. Not good!

I buy these all the time out of sheer laziness of not wanting to drive further to the market. So this review is based on hundreds of bags, not just one. Usually only 1/2-2/3 of the bag is usable. And even those I have to cut and peel as there are always dead bugs and debris. The other ones are often full of holes or rotted. Now, I understand that vegetables are grown in dirt and of course come with dirt and insects (I’d rather insects than pesticides). But the notion that these bags state that they are washed and ready-to-steam in bag… the thought of anyone steaming these in bag, sight unseen, and eating them makes me nauseous. I’ve bought pre-bagged Brussels sprouts elsewhere and while there is the occasional bad sprout or hitchhiking aphid, it’s never to the extent or consistency that these ones are. Please don’t steam these in bag. Please.
