A: Hi! We do recommend consulting in your vet to make sure you are giving the appropriate amount of glucosamine and chondroitin for your dogs needs. Each treat has 50mg of glucosamine and 15mg of chondroitin. We recommend 2 treats a day for a dog 27-54lbs. These instructions do take into consideration there could be other sources of glucosamine and chondroitin in their diet, so it is not a full daily supplement.

Depending on your dog's weight, you can give them 1-4 treats a day. 5-10lbs, 1 treat. 11-20 lbs, 1-2 treats. 21-80 lbs, 1-3 treats. 81+ lbs, 1-4 treats per day. Overall, you'll want to start small and can increase over time. Your dog will love these treats because they support healthy hip & joint functionality, made with simple ingredients, and only contain 7 ingredients per treat! Bought these for my senior dog and my mothers senior chihuahuas. Gave it to them for 3 days and on day four all of them have vomiting and diarrhea. Totally different households and never come in contact with each other. The only commonality was these treats. Do not recommend.

I’m torn as to whether to rate these 1 or 5 stars - they’re normally my Pomeranian’s FAVORITE and have helped her age gracefully and maintain her agility and zest for walks - however! I just bought two bags yesterday and they smell AWFUL, the color is lighter, and they’re more crumbly - did the recipe change?? I’m going to return both bags today and I am so so sad.
