Buffet with 2 Door Hutch Wood/Oak - Home Styles: Elegant Server, Glass Display, Wine Rack, Storage Cabinet

This was a great addition to our little kitchen space. Although the drawers are a little too small for our liking, the shelves and other storage makes this hutch functional and practical. It was easy to assemble. Because I got it less than two months ago, I can say much for the quality and durability, other than it looks sturdy.

It's just sitting there... waiting to be built. Starring at me, asking me "why... WHY am I the last piece of furniture you haven't built?!?!". "But all the IKEA furniture and other Target furniture I built... it has tired me so" (just bought a house and moved in) i responded in kind. But alas, the time has come, so I get my drill and an hour later with Styrofoam EVERYWHERE including my hair, the beauty that is the Buffet with 2 Door Hutch is complete!!! I scream with joy and look at how awesome it is, thinking of how cool the wine rack is but remember I only drink beer and it will never be used. I then go to put it in it's place but somehow manage to slip on the Styrofoam that is everywhere and fall right into the beauty that is the Buffet with 2 Door Hutch and knock it over into my drywall causing the hutch to break in half and create a massive hole in the wall. 2 Days later with new screws holding hutch to the buffet, no one will never know of the hole behind it ;). But really this is an awesome hutch for the price and didn't fall apart when it fell through a wall. Good stuff.

I have seen this cabinet on numerous websites and loved the style but never ordered it because the wood wasn't quite the color I wanted. When I saw this one on the Target site, the photo showed a warmer, lighter, more reddish-gold oak color - which was the color I wanted. Thinking it was another color of the same cabinet I liked, I ordered it. But it turns out to be the same color as what I had seen (for less money) on the other websites. I guess I've given up on finding one the actual color I want and it's a very nice piece of furniture, so I'll keep it. But BEWARE - this color is NOT the color of the cabinet. To see the actual color, go look at it on other websites.

Three boxes full of parts; instructions were decent, but it still took well over 7 hours for us to put this together. I would never do that again. Other than that ordeal, the piece itself is nice, true to the picture, and sturdy.

Good quality product for an assemble-at-home piece. Took a few hours to put together and I had to get creative with a drawer where the pre-drilled holes didn't line up with the brackets. Same with one of the cabinet doors. It's hanging crooked for now until I can get a power drill to drill new holes so that it can hang properly. Overall happy with the price but it would've been nice to have the pre-drilled holes line up for the pieces to properly fit. Also, the "glass" for the cabinet doors is plexiglass. Was somewhat surprised with that since the quality of the product is top-notch.

We ordered the first time, and a couple of pieces were already damaged when delivered......looks like the manufacturer also cut along the opposite way of the wood grain too on couple pieces, so it looked horrible. I needed one piece to be replaced but had to have an entire hutch resent just to get the new part. But it was damaged as well!!!! And whoever packaged the item....broke a bracket/sliding bar off of one of the pieces [...] Will not buy furniture from here again!!!

Received in 3 boxes. Hard to assemble. A few pieces had splits in the wood and had to be glued. One piece had damaged ends and some areas had to be camouflaged with furniture marker. Damaged plexiglass. Piece missing on leg.

This hutch is beautiful, real wood and not plywood. After it was put together, we loved it and it has a lot of space without being too bulky of a piece. The only problem was my husband had an awful time putting it together. The workmanship on this could definitely have been better. Give yourself lots of time and patience with this one!

The buffet and hutch came nicely packaged and was easy enough to put together. It took about 3-4 hours to unpack it and put it together, but the directions were easy enough to follow with some patience. The piece looks very nice and seems durable. However, it smelled awful. It has taken about a month, and it still has a slight smell to it. I suggest unpacking it and letting the pieces air out in a garage or outside for a while before assembling it.

this piece is very well made and beautiful. it is a bit darker than the image but i was aware of this from reading the other reviews. it will take some time to put together and i did have one drawer pull missing from the parts but the company sent it promptly.

Just received this almost 3 weeks ago - absolutely love the color. As mentioned in another comment, the color is slightly darker than it appears on the website, which is a very good thing. I have a wooden kitchen table that is a hickory color, and the colors complement each other nicely. As for assembly - the instructions are very good - just make sure to follow step by step and don't try to think ahead. The top part was a bit difficult to finish & the only wish I have is that the pieces (bottom buffet & top hutch) connected together better for added stability. Great added storage for my kitchen which severely lacks in cabinet space. I would definitely buy this buffet & hutch again!

This hutch was a breeze to put together. Well built and easy instruction. I really like it in our kitchen. The only thing I have a problem with is that it has that new varnish odor that I hope will dissipate in time.

This product is beautiful but not easy to assemble. You will need 2 people and some patience. The instructions could of been better. Each step has multiple processes in it. They could of spread it out so you do not get overwhelmed at following their charts. We had an issue with parts too. We were missing a front piece for the buffet. Ordering the part was free and easy with their website, but we have to keep a half finished buffet in the dining room for 5-7 days. One a good note: This product is very sturdy and well made. Solid wood instead of that pressed chip chip stuff. Its very beautiful and will work wonderfully in our dining room. I would definitly recommend this product.. just make sure you get help buildling it.

It's a good solid unit that is a bit of a challenge to assemble. Two of the pieces were labeled incorrectly (the two center vertical walls of the lower unit). It's quite heavy so figure on two people to move it around and assemble. On the plus side it's solid wood, not veneered particle board. My biggest issue with it is the color of the actual unit is darker than shown on the Target web site. It's more of a cherry color than oak. Other than that it's a good unit, especially when shipping free.

We ordered this hutch on a Monday and received it on a Thursday or Friday. It was very fast! We have a very small space and it is perfect for a little storage and looks great, too! It's just what we were looking for. The construction is solid and my husband didn't have any problems putting it together. With the sale price and free shipping, it ws quite a good deal!!

I BOUGHT THIS TWO DOOR HUTCH LAST WEEK...THE SHIPPING WAS VERY FAST...LOVED THE ITEM! IT LOOKS GREAT IN MY KITCHEN...WAS FAIRLY EASY TO PUT TOGETHER!

This is a very nice piece that went together well with good hardware (including spares). The instructions were a little minimal, but my husband really didn't have any trouble overall. There was one inside door edge that needed some touching up with a Min-Wax pen, and one drawer slot is just a hair narrow for the roller track (so that it drags slightly), but it is fine. Glass doors in the hutch would be nice, but the plastic is quite well done and you really don't notice they aren't glass. Overall it looks great and for it's smaller size it really holds a lot. It is a great addition to our dining room.

I love this hutch and buffet. It is a great size for a dining room and has lots of space for storage. The only problem I had was that dinner plates cannot be stacked in the cabinets in the hutch as they are not deep enough. The windows in the hutch doors are plastic, but you cannot tell. Also, the directions were not very precise in explaining the assembly of the items, but my husband was able to figure them out with minimal confusion.

My husband completed assembling this over the weekend. Looks great. Goes well with the Butterfly Mission Table in our Dining Room. Instructions could be more clear, but he figured things out. Two comments on areas that could be improved: 1) 2-Door Hutch has plastic, not glass in the doors - which means that I will have to be extra careful in choosing cleaners, etc. 2) Door on one side of the buffet section was not completely stained along the edge of the board dividing the door. But we already had a Min-Wax Light Oak pen and decided to do the touch up ourselves. Matched perfectly. We would purchase again. Already had one family member who saw it say that they would like to get one too!
