Q: Do these cushions tie/connect to the chair to prevent moving and blowing away?

A: I bought these chairs because this answer stated that the cushions have ties. Only the bottom cushions have ties, not the back cushions. I have already lost 1 cushion after having for less that a year

These are very attractive. They are firm & comfortable. Cushions are easily wiping clean. Getting lots of compliments. They seem like good quality, but YOU NEED TO SEAL THEM. They come almost raw (wood) and will certainly not last in the elements untreated. I spent about 3 days sealing every part with polyurethane before we assembled & put on the patio. It was easy but tedious. Hoping they’ll last years now.
