Burt's Bees Passionfruit Lip Oil - 0.27 fl oz

My daughter bought this lip gloss and liked it, until she accidentally left it in her pants pocket and washed and dried ALL of her school/work clothes. I have tried nearly 10 different products and cannot get these stains out. Most of the clothes are polyester/spandex and are black, purple or gray. I am banning her from ever bringing this gloss in the house EVER again.. Yes, it was her fault it was left in the pants, but I would have a better chance of learning to walk on water than to get these oily stains out of her clothes. Maybe consider putting a warning label on the product OR instructions on house to get this out of clothing because she certainly cannot be the only person to have done this. I would be willing to change this rating for advice on how to remove these stains from ALL of her clothes.

My favorite lip oil! Not sticky, and the smell and flavor is great!

I love this stuff. The oil provides exceptional moisture, and my lips just suck it up! The smell is great too - if you like fruity smells. This is a winter must for dry lips.

Smell: 5/5 The smell is AMAZING ✨💞. Fruity but not cheap nor tart. Hides mild stinky breath! Just being honest. Sometimes we gotta ask around for gum 🤷🏽♀️. My nose loves the spontaneous upper lip whiffs of this oil. Moisture: 2/5. This isn’t going to fix that “dry” lip issue. It’s going to add a beautiful shine. (Oil seals in moisture, water is moisture) If want that hydration and conditioning feeling not just the gloss look, I recommend licking your lips and then adding this on top or if you’re like me, take that chapstick or lip balm and lather your lips before topping with oil. Your lips will smell and now feel bomb af! 💞 Texture: 3/5 Its smooth a prefect blend between oil and lip gloss. I like more of a sticker blend as it lasts longer but oil seems healthier. Spreads easy with the angular tip. Duration: 2/5 It’s not lip gloss so as stated previously the oil texture requires frequent reapplication. Taste: 2/5 I gave a 2 because it doesn’t taste like anything. It’s not disgusting which is good but it’s not pleasant like a mint or other fruit lip gloss. Too many times I’ve digested my lip gloss and found they’ve tasted as great as they smell. Just understand the smell is deceiving. So if you’re kissing someone just know…they’re not going to enjoy your lips. Layer something delicious under or on top. Overall: 3/5. This is mostly for the smell 😅. I wouldn’t recommend this for anyone who considers all the other things I’ve mentioned. If you’re someone who’s swayed by scents you’re going to loveee this oil. It’s smooth and non sticky, works amazing as a top layer for lip combos or lip care routine. Spreads onto lips fast a little goes a long way but you’ll easily want to over do it because of the strong fresh fruity scent. I’ve had mine for over a year but I don’t use it everyday. Smell is still amazing too. The purpose of this lip oil is to seal in moisture, anyone who says a lip oil is hydrating is essentially lying. It must contain water or liquid to moisturize. Imagine putting oil on your dry skin, you’d feel like a slippery piece of wood. Fluid is required. Use the LCO method for ultimate hydration. (liquid, cream, oil). Lick lips, use a lip balm or lip cream then follow up with this oil. Enjoy and hope this helps.

Looove this lip oil. It is so hydrating and never sticky. I have dry lips and if I use other lip products other than my BB peppermint lip balm (used for 10+ years), my lips become dry and cracked. For those people who have dry lips after trying this, i suggest putting a lip balm first and then this product.

Need more. It doesn't last that long for everyday use. Otherwise, I love it!

Two small for the price you can get a bigger one at dollar tree from the bpure brand and it’s more moisturizing.

This lip oil was a hot and sticky mess, it would drip off my lips into a soupy pool even if I applied a small amount, the formula was so so runny and oily and if left in a hot room would melt further. The scent was overwhelming and artificial smelling.

I have been looking for a new brand of Lip oil/balm for a couple months now, my other one I had was discontinued and I havent found any till now that I actually liked. I just tried this out the other night and I am pretty happy with the effects. I apply it at night right before bed and wake up without having dry lips that want to crack.

I keep this little tube in my purse to hydrate my lips during the day. It's so convenient and works very well. I think I've bought this product 4 times. It's really good!

this smell was so strong and smelled like cheap air freshener to me. I usually like scented products even lip balm but this smell was so unpleasant I had to immediately throw the product away.
