Q: What would be the ideal container size for this plant?
submitted by Phoenix - 7 years ago
A: A decorative container that holds about 7 gallons of soil would be ideal.
submitted byCottage HIll - 7 years agoBrand expertA: In case anyone else is wondering: There are 7.48 gallons in a square foot of space. (So if you have a container that's 1'x1'x1', it's good. (I've seen other recommendations of 12"-16" pots for these.)

I should have listened to other reviews. These come basically dead clearly not cared for. I’m all about bringing plants back to life, but from root health to pruning, these are not worth it. Definitely look somewhere else for a blackberry bush!

Disappointed - 6 years ago, Verified purchaser
The plant arrived wilted with quite a few dead leaves. It looked like it had seen better days. Should have know better than to have ordered an online black berry bush from Target. However, the gardener in me (and the fact It was too much trouble to bring it back to a Target for a refund) I decided to see if I could make it flourish. Time will tell if this was a quality purchase.

Baby cakes blackberry came in the mail, very well packaged, however most of the growth was either dead or had insect damage to leaves. I was very disappointed in it.

My 3 berry bushes arrived on scheduled and each were safely packed in boxed shipping containers. However, the three small berry bushes I purchased were not healthy green leaf plants. I contemplated returning them, but decided to see if I can nurse them back to health. I have planted each of them in their own large resin planters with quality fertilized planting soil and will see how they do. Addendum to follow later on.
