Sandra Boynton is a popular American cartoonist, children's author, songwriter, producer, and director. This is one of Sandra Boyntons best books. My babe loves it, along with The Going to Bed Book, Hippos Go Berserk, and Opposites. They are classic, catchy, and short and sweet. Perfect for a little babe with a limited attention span!

This book is so cute. All of Sandra’s books are! It’s a fun rhyming book and my 18-month-old loves having it read to her before bed

Sandra Boynton is a house favorite. This book is very cute. I use it to build empathy; it's easy to have discussions about being a friend after reading.

All Sandra Boynton's books are good. Simple & engaging words & illustrations. The board book format is sturdy, which means even an infant can grab it and play with it. The rhythm of "But Not The Hippopotamus" is especially good, so I can almost recite it from memory thirty years on from when I read it to my daughter.
