Q: wouldn't a button closure be a chocking hazard?

A: Hi Angie, most likely not if it is attached. But I understand your point of view as it could possibly come off if a mouth is very harsh on it. The button is mostly for the rolled presentation but you can remove it after it is yours and use it wide open for you kid.
