Camp Chef Portable 4 burner Flat Top Gas Grill FTG600P

Flat Top Grilling Reimagined - This grill goes everywhere with me. Folds down next to nothing and travels very easily. Camp fire meals have been elevated with this grill, and I would highly recommend it to anybody who likes to take their cooking outdoors anywhere and everywhere!

I bought this grill last year and have taken good care of it… unfortunately the weld broke on the handle so now one shelf has a handle one doesn’t. The weld that holds the grill to the legs also broke. The thing will practically collapse now… not the quality I was expecting from camp chef. No wonder there’s only a one year warranty. 13 months after assembly and use it’s garbage.

Great grill and a lot of fun to cook with. Quality parts and cooks well. *Camp Chef needs to modify the front legs to be wheels and not adjustable feet. It can be a pain to move around

Leary of the lid. Took two of us to put on and still isn’t right.

Helped friend with his unit. A step backward from previous model that had grill grates. Not sure it's even offered as an option. Would look for leftover old model.

High quality product! Better that other top brands that are advertised.

The griddle is great. Runs a tad hot, but high quality, no sticking; very happy with it. The hood/lid seems like a complete afterthought. The whole hinge design is a bit floppy and not super smooth acting. The hood itself is thin and cheap, with the inside of it flash rusting after the first use (good thing food won't contact it). Overall, I would have preferred the "old" version that came with grates.

We love our Flat Top 600! Convenient outdoor cooking and you don't have to heat up the house.

Restaurant quality cooking out doors. This is by far the best grill I have ever owned or used. Easy to transport and set up.

This is our third cc product; bought a 900 for use at rowing events. So much better than Blackstone. Like it so much I bought this 600 for the house and the grill grates are just a bonus. Heats evenly. Only downside is the instructions are not the best but this is my third assemblage, so it went fine.

Moving up from a 2-buner P60X with a 14" single griddle that I purchased 5 years ago and have really loved. I really love my 600 unit. Seems to be very well built and cooks like a charm. I have a couple of friends with Blackstones which I have cooked on. Nothing about me would want to trade my Camp Chef.

Love my new grill! It is a great add on to my camp chef pellet grill. This was everything I was hoping for and more.

Just did my third cook on my new FTG 600. Fed Ex delivered it two weeks ago. The factory packing was good and the unit did not have a scratch on it even though the box was ripped. It took about 2 hours to put together by myself taking my time. It would have helped at times if I had someone to hold the other end of things. The directions were straight forward. All the parts fit together well. It is well built and solid like a tank. It comes pre-seasoned but I seasoned the grill a few more times before I cooked on it. My first cook was off but I've gotten better with my next two. I have an infra red thermometer gun and the cooking surface is fairly uniform (nothing more than +/- 10 degrees difference). With no wind it runs hot (+400 degrees) even on low. I cooked yesterday in about 10-15 mile wind and it made a difference needing to go to medium to get the same temperature. The wind guards also worked well with some of the + 25 gusts. I bought the hood version and the tarp cover. Both are well made look great and fit the unit well. The tarp cover held tight and kept the unit dry in a Nor'easter we just had with heavy rain and 40+ mile gusts. Very happy with my new flat top grill so far and no complaints.

Bought this and received it a few weeks ago. Simple but well built. Heats quickly and is a ton of fun to cook on. I’ve done breakfast with pancakes eggs and bacon all at once, fried rice, cheesesteaks, you name it. And having the regular grill grates underneath for when you need to just grill something is great as well. Has everything I need and nothing I don’t.

Excellent in every way. Well worth the additional money over the other well known brand.

I got this as a Christmas present after staring at the website for 2 years. Breakfast and smash burgers on it have been amazing. Can't wait to try some more recipes.

Superior customer service! I had an issue with my order. I emailed for a resolution and, instead of a response of "what they could do", they actually just did it. This is actually our second time dealing with customer service and both times have been fast and to our satisfaction. The Flat Top 600 is awesome, fits perfectly with our other items, and we're already very happy with it.

Assembly was pretty easy and it fired right up. 3 cooks so far with great success. I'm using a sharp spatula, little water and a soaking wet rag to clean up after cooks while the grill has low heat on it. The whole family is loving it so far!

I have had my flat top 600 for about a month and have made a variety of great meals. I am really glad I chose this grill. Today, I roasted two pounds of green coffee beans on the flat top. This flat top is perfect for roasting coffee. I have roasted coffee in cast iron skillets, but this flat top makes it so much easier and you can do a larger batch. If you want to give this a try, find a few articles on roasting coffee to get an understanding of the process. Then fire up the grill and give it a try. Low heat is plenty hot for this purpose.

I probably would have given it 5 stars but one of the burners does not ignite ,I have to light it with a match, otherwise VERY NICE !!
