The lid is not secure at all and that’s the only thing I wish was different about it. It not too big of a deal but it’s something good to know. I fit my cotton pads in it for my face care. Very cute.

I purchased this online to corral all of my tubes of lipstick. It really holds a lot and looks nice on the bathroom counter. Be aware it doesn't have a silicone ring on the inside of the lid so don't try to pick it up by grabbing the lid. For a small container it really holds a lot. Could be used in the bedroom or kitchen as well.
