Capezio Women's Mary Jane Tap Shoe

I am looking for a pair of leather soled low heeled shoes for dancing. I can no longer wear heel. The soles were rubberized and the taps were already affixed. If in your inventory you have Size 10 1/2, medium width with leather soles and no more than 1 1/2 high heels as wide as the shoes PLEASE send a photo and price details. I’m looking for a square dance shoe, not a ballroom shoe

I’m a 66 year old woman trying tap for the first time since middle school. This is the second pair of tap shoes I’d tried - I first ordered another from somewhere else and, although I followed their guidelines for sizing, they were way too small. I had wanted a lace up shoe but couldn’t find one in my size in Wide. For this shoe, I ordered my regular size in a Wide width. I was concerned because they didn’t come in Extra wide, and the first one I had tried was a W but was actually very narrow. These shoes fit great. They are very comfortable. They seem well made. I am really enjoying them. I definitely recommend.

I was looking to upgrade my tap shoes and chose this Mary Jane. It does the job, but I wasn't a huge fan of the fit of the foot, including the leather.

We have been using this shoe for several years. However, in the past year we have been having trouble with the screws coming loose in the adult sizes. We have been very disappointed with the quality lately.

These are good tap shoes, we just hard a difficult time getting the right fit only to later find out that her studio wants her to use a completely different tap shoe.

The ordering process was easy but unfortunately, we couldn’t use the shoe because it was too small. I must have misread the sizing. We sent it back with no problems for a free return and are looking at a different shoe that will hopefully be the right size.

My daughter has been tapping for 11 years and these are the only tap shoes she will wear. I've had nothing but good experiences with the online store. Delivery is always fast which is great as I generally don't get told that she has outgrown her shoes until it's too late to go to the store. Never had any problem.

I have yet to dance in them thoroughly, but so far, I am quite pleased with them. They feel great and fit great…when I got the right size, which is why I am leaving a four out of five instead of five out of five. The sizing guide told me to order a half a size up than what I usually wear. However, this resulted in a shoe slightly too big. It was disappointing and resulted in me not having tap shoes for several tap classes. On the other hand, I have to commend Capezio for their great customer service. I was able to quickly and easily exchange my too big shoes for the one that are the right size. Overall, very happy with the shoes especially the real leather upper and the resonance price for the beginner dancer. Would recommend to others.

I wish the toe tap were not flush with the heel, but other than that, these are comfortable and cute tap shoes!

I was a little nervous about ordering tap shoes online, but they fit perfectly thanks the the sizing guidelines. As a teacher of little ones whose specialty is not tap, these will work well for the price. And they’re so cute!

What wonderful shoes!! As a kid I used to say new shoes made me run faster and jump higher! Well, these shoes make me tap cleaner and faster! I love them!
