Capezio Stitch Kit

I love how handy the Capezio stich kit is. It now lives in my teacher bag.

It comes in the lovely professional pink. I found it comes in two professional pink colors. One is a lighter pink and another is a more orangey pink. These work great for sewing my nikolay pointe shoes.

I have used this stitch kit for many years for my daughter's pointe shoes. The thread is durable and reliable. The needle that is included easily pierces the density of the pointe shoe. Using this kit adds an element of confidence to the integrity of the shoe.

Strength of thread seems really good to hold ribbons/elastics securely and safely, and there seems to be a good quantity of thread included. Needles large and sturdy which is great for easy use, but can make smaller stitches through multiple layers of material a little tricky. I use suede caps rather than darning, so I can't comment on how the kit would work for that purpose. Convenient little container to keep the needles and thread in, along with a couple of sewing pins that I already owned and didn't come with the kit. Overall I'm happy with the product for sewing my pointes, would recommend it and will likely purchase it again once the thread runs out.
