Q: What are the dimensions for the width of the rear edge? It appears smaller than the front edge (52") but I don't see it listed anywhere

Q: We are trying to assemble our unit, but in the first step, the holes are not drilled. Are we supposed to drill our own holes or is this a defect?

I am so pleased with the quality and appearance of this piece for price. We bought the walnut and it adds really nice warmth to our living room. This is a great value, solid wood piece. The assembly was not too difficult for two people but it did take a little while (2.5 hours or so) so just budget for that time. The directions were very clear and easy to follow.

Nice design but very cheap materials and took me SIX HOURS to put together. If you even slightly hit it it will ding. Very glad this is in a low traffic area.

What a great piece. It’s beautiful and sturdy. Nice wood. No damage. Assembly wasn’t easy but wasn’t difficult either. It took close to 4.5 hours to assemble. Instructions were pretty easy to follow. Long time!! If you have two people working on it, it’ll be faster. I’m confident it will last and fits my style perfectly. Worth the price.

Looks gorgeous once assembled, took a decent amount of time to put it all together. I bought it on cyber Monday for a hefty % off and found the price worth it for the item, I wouldn’t pay full price for this.

It is beautiful once assembled. However, upon the final steps, it became clear that there were multiple damages to piece. I did my best to look for problems before assembly, but the product wasn't oriented as it sits in the room until the very end. There are blue marker marks on the front and back of the console, and the center piece of wood is splitting (on a seam, not due to assembly). Further, while I was able to assemble it with one other person, it took over 4 hours - so just be prepared for that. Also, the drawers are on rather cheap rollers, so require caution in daily use. Finally, the leg bases came assembled, but one of the legs is wobbly, and there is no apparent way to fix this since that is how it arrived.
