Target is truly disappointing I enjoyed these no mater the cost these used to be 10.99 by me—now they’re 12.99. The container is mostly peanuts and like 5 caramel bowls (my favorite part of it all!) in a 37oz container. My mix had mostly salt and peanuts! HUGE CHUNKS OF SALT THROUGHOUT. The entire container was also knee deep in a salt mixture of peanut dust and salt! I’m returning this ASAP and getting my money back. What bothers me the most is target has zero quality control to email or report to about this like most brands. Just this review and guest service # I’m going to call about after this! I will not be purchasing these again. I don’t even remember these being salted 😒 and worse I ordered this online and my shopper picked this one out not me.

This use to be all cashews, not mostly peanuts. The price use to be justified but not anymore. Hardly any caramel balls either. Where is the pb cups? Disappointed in the change.

Although all the individual items in this trail mix are yummy, the change of less caramel chocolate balls replaced with caramel cups is a disappointment. It doesn't hit that craving the same way as the original "recipe" did. We used to order 4-6 containers at a time, now we order 1 container maybe twice a year. PLEASE go back to the original.

this used to be really good. it’s so different now, the salt is totally gone and they added some kind of peanut butter cups that have that cheap taste. it’s supposed to be caramel, not peanut butter so why?? not at all what i used to be a few years ago

I hear what everyone is saying about the recipe change. That is such a bummer. That said...I never tried this until two weeks ago, so the new recipe is all I know, and I think this stuff is great! The caramel balls are amazing and I could definitely eat a whole bag of just those, but this is trail mix and not a bag of candy. I think the ratio of sweet to nuts is good. I love sweets and I felt like I could get some sweet in every bite and that's really what I hoped for. Mine had lots of cashews, and none of the weird salty bits others have mentioned. That part sucks, but this is target - they take anything back. Just return the half eaten bag and get another one! I'll keep buying this for sure.

I bought this for the first time in a while and am so disappointed it is not the same as it used to be. Very few actual cashews and the caramel balls have almost completely been switched out with caramel cups. The few caramel balls that are left are so small. This is sadly no longer my favorite trail mix of all time. With the change in ratio I’m also sad the price has not dropped to be comparable to the other trail mixes in its size. The things that made it stand out was the two things that are hardly there anymore.

Used to be my go-to with great ratio of cashew to peanuts, and had wonderful soft caramel balls - it was perfect. Now there are few caramel balls or cashews. Mostly peanuts. They added these tiny chocolate/caramel cups - about the size of 1/2 peanut. They're weird and are not adequate substitute for previous caramel balls. So disappointing. Bring back the original mixture Target.

This would be a tasty trail mix except for the surprise pieces of salty powder chunks in it(see pic). It looks like a nut or cashew at a distance but if not looking or notice and you throw a handle full of the mix in your mouth it is a nasty surprise. I don't plan to purchase this again and if you do just be aware of these pieces in the mix.

Will no longer buy this product. There was no need to change the original caramel balls. Please go back to the original!
