First of all, I got this unintentionally since it was right next to real cream cheese, the vegan logo is small, and it was the only thing available that was a savory flavor other than plain. I didn't realize it was vegan until I already put it onto a bagel, so I tried it to not waste anything. I'm not a picky eater, but this was absolutely awful. No caramelized onion flavor at all. It's the texture of cold hard Crisco, and there's also a very long-lasting bad aftertaste that I feel like is still there days later whenever I think of this stuff. For all the people that like to make fun of American cheese and call it "plastic," if you want something that actually tastes fake, dollar store, and plastic, try this.

Whatever the name of this product is, it is *NOT* caramelized onion... at all! Not even an onion aftertaste! And for all the other ingredients, it might as well have had real cream cheese in it to give it some kind of flavor and better spreadability, instead of trying to appease the "vegan" crowd with pretentious nonsense.

I love to support and the flavor seemed like it would go perfectly with my Asiago and Everything bagels- it did! Delicious ! However the after taste is horrid! The after taste lingers for quite a while - maybe it's certain ingredients that don't mesh well causing this?? Hopefully there's a new and improved recipe but until then it's a no for me.

This stuff is incredible! I’ve been looking for vegan cream cheese for years and nothing ever came close. This tastes just like cream cheese! It’s a little thick and hard to spread but not let a big deal.

This is not spreadable even if u let it sit on the counter. No caramelized onion flavor. Just bland and a hard lump. Not sure how else to describe it. Not cream cheese not fake cheese consistency lol just a hard rock..

It's "stiff" right out of the fridge. If you scrape it, it helps soften it. I enjoy the flavor and smooth texture, not grainy.

I was really skeptical about getting this because of some of the reviews. I have to say it is quite hard, much much harder than dairy cream cheese but the flavor is there. It's really good!! I already had the strawberry one which is also good (but it's strawberry so kinda hard to really mess it up lol) when you start getting into other flavors it can get tricky but this is good. I don't think it tastes like caramelized onions but it's still good to me *shrugs* If you want to eat it as a dip it won't be possible unless you melt it a little first. If you want to spread it on hot toast or a hot bagel the heat will melt it enough to spread. Good vegan cream cheese is hard to find in stores (at least where I live) so I would definitely buy this again. I took off a star though because of the texture.

Where are the onions? This was a miss for me. I kept digging for the onions. I actually thought the pkg was mislabeled and I had plain cream cheese. I did give it two stars only because the vegan cream cheese was good. But I was very disappointed that it was missing the onions. Would not buy again and would not recommend.

Tastes like cream cheese, but I didn’t taste the caramelized onion. This is also incredibly hard and impossible to spread. Even after leaving out at room temp for 10 minutes.

Much better vegan options than this for cream cheese. Getting rid of Kitehill and replacing it with this was the worst decision ever. I’ll go elsewhere and pay $8 for a vegan cream cheese that has the actual taste and consistency of cream cheese

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best cream cheese I’ve ever tasted! Absolutely amazing. This is plant-based and can be spread on anything. Not only bagels. It taste good with garlic bread or French bread. The reason why you can eat it with anything is because it’s that good. The taste is not too strong but just right and it is highly addicted but guilt-free. Makes you wonder why you were ever eating animal based cream cheese spread before. Highly recommended! I received an incentive to write this review.

I love this product!! I let it sit out on the counter while I cook up my eggs and toast my bagel for breakfast and it definitely becomes more soft while I am cooking. This product is SO good. I love the taste.
