Perfect for my 2nd grade classroom! I put these in my Daily 5/Literacy center rotations and my students enjoy using these to improve upon their writing conventions, writing usage and grammar skills. Good quality and nice colors. Highly recommend!

This Sentence Building Board Game is a perfect activity for Reading Centers. It’s great for the more advanced students in Kindergarten. My student’s practice reading words, putting together sentences, using punctuation, and reading sentences with this resource. Once they’ve put a sentence together, I have them write it and draw a picture of it so I know they can read and understand the sentence. If you are looking for a good station for early readers/writers this will be perfect for you. There are plenty of nouns, verbs, adjectives, etc. to form as many sentences as you will need. They are all color coded so it will be easy to find when you are preparing stations. The packaging is perfect for long term storage. The only con I have is that I wish the color coded words were individually package. That would help out a lot for a busy teacher.

We have been working on sentence building in our language arts lessons, and this set has given us a fun way to explore these activities. I do wish there were more choices in words, but this is still a really great resource for our lessons. My son can get creative with what he puts together and I like that the set also includes punctuation marks, because that is an important factor that can't be omitted. The back of the box also has a handy collection of learning activity ideas, as well as an extensive listing of sample sentences to help students get started. This product is a great resource for students who are learning how to build sentences and also helps those littles understand words and spaces. I specifically love this product because they can build the sentence and then after they can write the sentence on paper and get that practice as well! My kids are kindergarten and 3rd grade and I have used this product with both of them. The kindergartener uses it for sight words and seeing what sentences she can make with them. My third grader uses them A LOT! He balks at the thought of physically writing anything but loves to come up with stories. These have solved that problem. We can work on sentence building without the argument that comes with writing. They have removed that stress from our homeschool and increased the creativity and are working wonderfully to teach him to make more complex sentences.
