Too small for cats head to fit through and not adjustable. Other styles unhook to be able to fit around a cats neck.

My cat Theodore, is about 13 pounds. This harness is not the most size inclusive we had to adjust it to the max to fit Theodore. I also wish the leash was a touch longer but it isn’t necessary. Overall it’s a pretty good product with a few things that are bad.

My kitten is about 7 months now and this fits fine. Easy to get his head thru but the legs are challenging. And if you do it wrong they can slip out so have to be careful. This is fitting him just fine now, it is slightly adjustable but won’t go much bigger. They need to make a larger size cat harness! Not all cats are petite, in fact most aren’t. So unfortunately we won’t get to use this much longer. Leash is pretty short wish they had an extension option or adjustable. I’d like to tie my cat outside on the deck so he has room to roam without having to hold the leash every second then I can just keep an eye on him. Boots & Barkley needs to put a little more thought into cats

I had two issue with this harness. First, note that this harness says for cats "up to 10 lbs". Seems to me that it will not work for many adult cats, unless yours is petite. After adjusting it to make it as large as possible, I was finally able to get it over my cat's head. But I was never able to buckle it. That's the second issue. This is awkward to put on and my tempermental cat wanted no part of it, even tried to bite me. First you must slip the cat's head through the neck opening. Then you have to try to put the right leg through the correct opening. Finally, pull the strap around the cat's back and buckle it behind the cat's left leg. So if you have a tempermental cat who doesn't like a lot of handling, this harness will probably not work. (On another note, I also tried a different style. It's like a vest that both legs go through and then it is pulled up and attached with velcro on the back before buckling. It goes on much quicker and easier. My cat will tolerate that.)

As many others have said, it's too small. There's no clasp for the neck part, so you have to slide it over your cat's head. Our cat is not large by any means, he's slender, but there was no way to squeeze his head through the narrow collar. And the chest strap where there are clasps, they're made of unbelievably cheapo plastic. But I really don't think this is for adult cats. I tried on two occasions and couldn't fit it over his head. I'll look for a different one on Amazon.

putting it on my cat was awkward at first but she cant get out of it. i can take her places without worrying <3 obviously she didnt like wearing it at first but once we got her moving she didnt seem to mind it at all - even just sitting in the cart at petsmart she wasnt trying to get it off

I purchased this for my nine month old cats. They about 8 to 9 pounds I was on the hunt for a cat leash and harness because they are dying to go outside every time I open the door they try to run out, cat leashes, and harnesses are pretty pricey, but I checked target praying at this would work and fit and as you can see my girl cat fits her perfect I can tighten it or loosen it as she grows her first day she doesn’t really like it, but I don’t think it’ll take that long for her to get used to it. Thank you target For making this reasonable price My cats measurements about 9 inches around the neck 14 and 14 1/2 in girth so this cat harness is perfect

My cat is below the maximum weight listed, and there was absolutely no way I was going to be able to get him into the harness. No real leeway to adjust. 2 stars simply because I could see it being effective for a kitten, and the leash made a secure enough connection with his old collar to comfortably take him out into the backyard. Would not advise buying for an adult cat unless you've got a pretty small girl.

Measure your cats chest before thinking of buying this, it is barely 10 inches in length.

I looked at the Q&A which assured that this harness was fully adjustable. When it arrived, the packaging said for cats 10lbs and under. I wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt, but it was not very adjustable, and at its largest comes no where near to fitting my cat.

Don’t buy unless you have a tiny cat!!

This harness has very liittle leeway in strap adjustment, and is sized for kittens less than a year old, I would say. Ignore the weight and size in description - adult cats cannot fit this.

Runs small. Do not get if your cat is mature or has any kind of weight past skinny

Cat seems to be okay with it! It is thicker, which is good. She can't slip out of it.

Easy to use, at first my kitten slipped out of it but now that hes 4 months old it fist him perfectly and can be adjusted as he gets bigger.

I just ordered this and online it says it fits cats of all sizes. It doesn't. I wanted to train my kitten to go on walks and it doesn't fit her whatsoever. I wouldn't get for a kitten.

Barley adjustable and seems to only fit a kitten

It’s way too small, for both my 10lbs adult cat and my 8lbs adult cat.

the leash did not break while i was running at super speeds while drunk (IT WAS ATTACHED TO ME NOT THE CAT)

Here is what worked and what didn’t for my 2 furbabies: >> Just barely fit my 1 year old petite cat 10 pounds 9” neck 16” chest. >> At first seemed to fit my other 1 year old who is 12 pounds 13” neck 18” chest But then quickly realized chest too snug, even though could easily slide 2 fingers under band, and couldn’t walk well. >> per package: max weight 10 pounds. Neck 8” - 11”. Chest 12” - 16”. >> Design definitely wasn’t thought out well as another reviewer mentioned. >> Target is definitely a “dog” store. Very little for cats. Best to lower your expectations.
