I measured before purchasing, yet it still seems much smaller than anticipated. We wanted to downsize to something smaller and safer though with two active children so it serves its purpose well as it’s pretty sturdy. Also, the grey finish has a silvery/sparkly look to it. Again, we don’t mind, but wasn’t expecting it.
