When using this product: skin irritation and dryness is more likely to occur if you use another topical acne medication at the same time. If irritation occurs, only use one topical acne medication at a time.,avoid unnecessary sun exposure and use a sunscreen,avoid contact with the eyes, lips, and mouth,avoid contact with hair and dyed fabrics, which may be bleached by this product, skin irritation may occur, characterized by redness, burning, itching, peeling, or possibly swelling. Irritation may be reduced by using the product less frequently or in a lower concentration.Directions
use every morning and evening. apply a dime-size amount to damp skin and gently massage, avoiding the eye area. rinse well. use wash on entire affected area one to two times daily. because excessive drying of the skin may occur, start with one application daily, then gradually increase to two times daily if needed or as directed by a doctor. if bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day. if going outside, apply sunscreen after using this product. If irritation or sensitivity develops, stop use of both products and ask a doctor.Other information

This is the best benzoyl peroxide wash, and best benzoyl peroxide treatment altogether, that I’ve ever used. The texture is thick, creamy and foams lightly, and I prefer it to the 4% version. I typically use a traditional cleanser first and then this product as a leave-on mask, and I don’t find that this is too drying. Like most good benzoyl peroxide treatments, this is very effective for all kinds of acne, especially if you use it regularly for a couple of months. Benzoyl peroxide is irritating and annoying to use, but this product makes it much more tolerable without sacrificing efficacy.

It doesn't foam for me. It feels like I'm cleanse my face with hair conditioner, as it produces no foam, suds, etc. My face *does* get cleansed from it, though it didn't help with my acne.

This product actually helps with acne. I've always struggled with acne, and I have tried many products and none of them worked. So i was skeptical to buy this one but it got rid of all my acne in about a week. I've had the product for almost 3 weeks and now I have clear skin. Highly recommend
