A: I find the answer from Cerave confusing because the description clearly states that it IS for use under the eyes and eyelids.

The first time I tried this product I noticed unusual puffiness under one eye within a day. I did not apply again, but kept the tube. A couple months later I tried again, as one use to me could not definitively be causal. This morning I woke up with terrible puffiness again, under both eyes, with pronounced swelling under one eye.

I’ve always thought CeraVe was a reputable enough brand that they’d have an eye cream suitable for the most sensitive eye area… whoa, not the case with this eye cream! It has a weird consistency, rather thick and doesn’t soak in easily. And there is definitely an ingredient that sensitive skin doesn’t tolerate well. My eyes are currently on day 3 of severe swelling, puffiness, red scaliness, and stinging. Some people may have no issues with this product but be cautious if you have sensitive skin, as this product may cause a reaction.

I’m getting to the age that I’m getting fine lines under my eyes so I was excited to get this CeraVe Skin Renewing Eye Cream. I am really enjoying this eye cream. I use it once in the morning and once at night and I do think it’s working. I don’t see any fine lines anymore. I still get a little puffiness. Would buy again.

Everyone’s skin is different, so I’m sure everyone would get a different result. I love cerave products for the most part. I was hoping this would help with the deep lines I have, and to help me look less tired. I really wanted to give it a chance so I’ve been using for a couple of months. It definitely did not make me look “less tired,” and unfortunately I can’t make a conclusion about the fine lines because there’s now a bunch of little red bumps under my eyes:( on the bright side, I can’t see the deep fine lines I haf. I’m not sure if it’s a reaction; it doesn’t itch or burn, but stings a little to the touch. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this product. But it doesn’t mean it won’t work for others

Bought this eye cream with the renewing face moisturizer to put in nightly before bed. This was a great product at moisturizing my skin, although it didn’t do much else. I’m using it all until it’s finished but I probably wouldn’t purchase again. I do appreciate that I have very sensitive skin and it did not give me any itching, redness, swelling or rashes!

I don’t feel like this actually did much other than add some moisture to my under eyes. But I also could’ve easily gotten the same effect by applying my facial moisturizer right under my eyes instead. At least it had no scent but don’t plan to buy this again.

This eye cream is amazing! You have to be consistent to see results! It won’t work overnight. I have used it for at least a year and seeing visible improvement in my under eyes. Highly recommend! It did burn at first, but subsided after continue use.

This is an excellent eye cream. The packaging is no frills,tge price is a steal and the product outperforms luxury brands by a mile. I am 50 and am dealing with fine lines and crepiness and this smooths everything out in a minute flat. I can almost watch them disappear. No fragrance, no irritation whatsoever. A grain of rice sized drop is all you need per eye. I can't imagine what product could come along and get me to drop this one. It's outstanding. 5 stars!
