The last 2 times I purchased this flavor, it was really bad. It had a TERRIBLE smell, like some kind of chemical!!! After the 1st purchase, before I realized it was bad, I had given my small dog a little bit. She immediately got sick. I threw it out and ordered another bag, but it smelled just as bad. I will not risk my dog's health on this flavor again. It's really a shame because I would love to give her beef food instead of always chicken.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My yorkie loves Cesar dog food as well as can food. We've tried plenty of other dog foods and he sniffs it and walks away. He is very picky. But once we pour him a bowl of Cesar Porterhouse flavor and Spring vegetables dog food he quickly eats it.

As soon as I opened the bag the smell was amazing for them they started getting happy and I put a bowl for them and they finished the whole thing. It wasn't even upsetting for their stomach it was perfect

Our small Chihuahua loves this food but the last bag we bought,the soft pieces looked liked they had been ground up or the end of the batch. Very disappointed!!!!

This is the only kind of food my dogs stomach can tolerate, not to mention he loves it and gets excited every time the new bag comes to the house. It keeps his coat shiny and provides all the nutrition that he needs. I highly recommend for animals with sensitive stomachs.
