Chapin 96 in. W Push Spreader For Salt/Ice Melt 80 lb

I would like first to say thank to Sarah from Chapin customer service for answering all my calls regarding this salt spreader. I finally got it put together yesterday and used it. I was totally blown away by the performance of this spreader. I have a driveway that will handle 9 cars and with to passes the entire driveway was done. Very efficient and great coverage. The best part is that it is a mulit- use spreader, spread salt in the winter and seed and fertilizer in the summer with the interchangeable auger system you can't go wrong. THANK YOU CHAPIN for making a quality piece of equipment that cuts down my winter driveway maintenance.

It comes mostly assembled and is very easy to use. It moves along with ease and is easy to handle. It is very well made and of good quality. It spreads the salt evenly and doesn't get clogged. It is sturdy and the wheels never get stuck or hung up on my uneven driveway. It makes my job a lot easier being able to spread the salt with it. When done, I just park it, cover it and it's ready the next time I need it. I would highly recommend it. It does a great job.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband has used the Chapin 8201A 80 lb. Residential Salt Spreader a couple of times for spreading the weed and feed. He loves it and he is anticipating an easier job of spreading salt when the snow starts to fall. We get a lot of snow in the Midwest and this spreader will allow him to spread the salt more evenly so there's less waste. Very easy to handle and rolls along easily.

Very heavy duty, easy to attach the handle and easy to use. The included cover is nice to protect the salt until the next use. Very simple and easy to use!

It’s study and the wheels aren’t plastic, so it doesn’t get stuck. It’s easy to control and spreads salt evenly. It’s a time saver as well. I used to out and throw hands full of salt on my driveway. I would recommend this product.

The tires are not plastic so pushing is much easier. However I have had a problem with the salt not wanting to come out and I feel like I'm fighting the spreader the entire time.
