Chapstick Lip Moisturizer and Skin Protectant Lip Balm, Sunscreen, SPF 12- 3ct

As others have said here, this is NOT the original Chapstick that so many of us grew up with. I have been a loyal user (addict?) For about 40 years. This newest version of the “original“ flavor smells and tastes very different! It has a sweet, chemical smell and taste that is really annoying and I actually can’t even stand to use it. I have switched from the “Classic Original”balm to your “Moisturizer Original” (Black and blue label), which has a much more neutral smell and taste, But please do let us know if you actually bring back the original, because that was the best and it deserves to be brought back.

Tastes like vick's vaporub. I like the cherry chapstick and the moisturizer, and have used them for years. I'm not sure if this is the "original" flavor but I don't recommend it, I find it awful

I've been a fan of the Classic Original Chapstick for 50 years. They have changed the ingredients, and it now tastes like a chemical that should not be ingested. So disappointed.

This is the best lip balm. No fragrance, no taste, just no nonsense stuff. Have numerous sticks scattered everywhere.

I used to recommend the “blue” chapstick to everyone because it was the only lip balm I could use without making my lips peel. It’s now so bitter. So bad. Will move on to find another brand unless the old formula comes back.

I bought this a month ago and i haven’t had chap lips since.

I bought this because it says Original and I want that smell and taste that I grew up using, but this is nothing like it. It's very different and smells repulsive. How can they call it Original?

What did you do to my chapstick?! Now it smells phony and makes me nauseous!! Change it back please!! I have been using chapstick for over 40 years! I don't like other brands and stuck with chapstick because of the very light smell and flavor and now it so strong I can't even stand it! Now it's more greasy and used to be just a nice light cover on my lips. Change it back!!!

I have been using this product for years. It moisturizes my lips and keeps them from getting chapped.

This is NOT the original. The texture is too soft. The original was waxy, not vaseliney. It also tastes and smells different. The old one smelled and tasted like a drugstore, but this one tastes like RASH MEDICINE! If companies don't want to make the original, fine, but don't put out some substitute and claim it's the original. It's really irritating.

Works amazing and the smell reminds me of when I was a little kid. Does what it was made to do and you can't go wrong with a classic

My dad carried ChapStick in his pocket at all times. I have them everywhere. Now I come to find my kids use ChapStick as well. It is a simple product that we just can't do without.

I have been using this product for decades but recently it has a bitter taste that is very unpleasant. Why did you change the formula?

No scent...texture smooth... packaging good ....works good...use when I have dry cracked lips .. works good...I would recommend if you have dry cracked lips..

Tastes so bad. This one used to be kind of sweet but now it just tastes like sunscreen and I have to wipe it off immediately. :(

So if you’re ever struggling a little with chapped skin in the winter — this is a great go to. This brand’s chapstick is a staple everywhere in the United States! They have great seasonal products with different scents and even some shaded varieties but, no one can go wrong with good ol’ original! My toddler gets little bouts of chapped skin on his face and dab some of this on in a pinch and it even helps cheeks! It’s silky smooth and has a nice natural smell and tiny bit of shine. If you like a clear gloss on your lips this is so much more hydrating — not as shiny but does last awhile! I’d put this on as a base layer then add the gloss! Highly recommend any of their chapsticks - if you get one you know you’re getting a good product! I posted before and after applying!
