Chemical Guys Heavy Duty Water Spot Remover: Liquid Cleaner for Hard Water & Sap on Cars, Automotive Cleaning Kit

There are water spots that are under some sort of film on the paint. I had hoped the spot remover would penetrate that layer as well. But it didn't even phase it. Photos show where buffing seems to work. Need something easier.

Product claims to work well on water spots but used it on 5 day old spots and did not remove them.

I tried to remove some water spots off my side window on my car and it didn't seem to do much. I followed the directions as on the bottle, but did not have really any good results. the water spots are still on the glass. I don't know maybe I didn't do it right.

Cannot see this product working at all. Read the directions watched a video online and tried it and still the same old water spots. I think you would do better spending more money on a deionizer or some sort of filter. Because clearly this product is another waste of money.

Product didn't work to remove hard water spots!

I used this to remove hard water marks from my shower door. I had areas that no standard bathroom cleaners could make a dent at. This product removed all hard water areas from the glass. I followed the shower glass instructions on The Chemical Guys YouTube channel, along with their Streak Free Window Clean and HydroView coating. The glass looks brand new and untouched.

I was VERY pleased to find HDWSR not only removed all my water spots, it also removed my Bead Maker paint sealant - something I did want, because I was sure there also were water spots beneath (and were being protected by) the Bead Maker. It took a bit of time to wash each section after applying HDWSR before proceeding to the next, but was not hard work, and now my 6-YO car is looking showroom new. Thanks, Chemical Guys.

Used the product as directed and is did absolutely nothing for the water spots on my door. Will not be purchasing again.

Very effective! Completely removed all the water spots on my truck with the exception of some particularly stubborn ones on the sunroof. After 2 applications some spots were still visible on the sunroof but I'll keep at them.

We have terrible hard water and I made the mistake of washing our car in the sun and it dried fast. The spots were terrible and nothing we used or did would remove them. This product, used as directed, worked great. Took three coats and alot of rubbing and glass cleaner cleanup and clean rags but it worked! Also, DO NOT use on MIRRORS. Ruined my drivers side mirror and had to replace.

Purchased a black vehicle that was sitting on the Dealers lot for almost a year. Heavy water spots on the glasses that would not come off at ALL. This product removed them 1st time with little effort. Recommend for sure.

Didn't work on glass or paint of car waste of money

Took little elbow grease to remove the iron spots but overall the product was good.

Thanks Chemical Guys for a great product. I have a 2005 Excursion, and as you know they have a lot of glass. After almost 20 years of weather, tree sap and bugs, it was very hard to keep the glass clean unless I went to the extreme to replace glass. Your spot remover was a pleasant surprise, with a little elbow grease, the glass is as clean as the day it left the factory. Thanks guys!

I tried this product on old water stains on my hood. Didn't perform well. Removed some of the stains but not all of them.

I followed the instructions from the YouTube instructional video. The product did not work well at all on my moderately water spotted shower doors.

This product is not what I expected it to do. Used this on my truck which had water spots from a sprinkler and it took some elbow grease to get the spots cleaned. I was hoping it would be easy as wiping on and wiping off with ease.
