Chicco 7oz Silicone Spout Transition Sippy Cup - 4m+

I got a chance to review this sippy cup as part of the stellar product testing panel, and I’m so glad I did because it made the transition from bottles to cups with my youngest so easy! The handles made it easy for her to hold it, it isn’t huge so she wasn’t overwhelmed and mama loved how easy it is to clean. The mouthpiece got a little wonky if it was sucked on too hard or dropped, but for a leak-free, easy to clean and easy to use cup, it was not a biggie.

I was excited to receive this product from the Stellar Review Panel because as a mom of a 2 year old and a 7 month old I feel like we are always on the hunt for the perfect cup or bottle. This was a great intro cup for my 6 month old, but I wouldn’t recommend it younger as I don’t think he had the coordination for it. The handles do have a nice grip and the changeable spout is definitely a plus.

The Chicco Two Handled Silicone Transition Cup is very nice. The form and function are excellent. It didn’t spill, which was really nice. We went from a bottle to this cup and it was a relatively easy transition. The spout was a good texture and stiffness for my little one. He likes to chew on it! The Chicco Two Handled Silicone Transition Cup is our new favorite cup! We are so relieved to finally have a cup that our little guy loves. He has never been keen on taking a bottle of any kind and now is excited when he sees this cup! Glad he likes a cup that I do too. The cup is easy to clean and never leaks or spills. I received this Chicco two handled silicone transition cup to test. Initially, straight out of the package, I loved it. It's easy to clean, the handles make it easy to hold for little hands as they are not bulky, and the shape of the cup itself is great for little hands. Unfortunately, that is about where my love for this cup stops. I like the silicone mouthpiece, however the entire top of the cup is designed with a silicone that is super soft. Because of this, my little guy was quickly able to figure out that he could push in the top and make all of his water spill out of the cup and make a mess with it. If this cup was designed with a more sturdy silicone on the lid, so that babies couldn't push in the top, it would make for an amazing cup. I also had the issue that I, myself, pressed down the top of the lid, and inadvertently spilled the juice I had in it all over the little bag I had the cup stored in. If this cup was redesigned just a little bit to help prevent the pressing in of the lid, it would be an absolutely great cup. Unfortunately though, because of this issue, it is just not the cup for us and I don't recommend it if you have curious babies who love to press and smoosh things. I received this cup from the Stellar Product Testing Panel for my daughter. She was able to easily pick it up when it was full and drink easily from the nipple. The soft spout made it easy for my daughter to get the liquid out and there was no spilling or mess. I thought it was a great design for small children finishing the bottle and transitioning to cups and would definitely purchase it again.

When we transitioned from bottles to sippy cups at 12 months, he preferred (and continues to prefer) cups with soft spouts like this one. I've mostly thrown out the other soft spout cups due to the giant splatter of milk or water I'll get on the floor when he drops them. Not this one! He drops--or throws--this cup on the ground all the time without spills. That makes it a winner for me! I also really appreciate that its capacity is a big larger than that of other transition cups and the top doesn't have several parts, which makes it easier for washing.

Ever since our daughter started eating solid food, we've been searching for a cup she can use for water at meals. We've tried straw cups, open cups, and sippy cups; she hasn't quite gotten the hang of any of them. However, once we received this Chicco Silicone Transition Cup through the Stellar Product Testing Panel, we thought we'd give it a shot. The soft silicone spout is similar enough to her bottle; she was able to get it to work the first try. The design is great for small hands, it's super easy to clean, and I love that it has a lid. My favorite part is it hasn't leaked in the diaper bag even once. We'll definitely be buying a few more.

The Stellar product testing panel provided me with the Chicco two handled transitions cup for free in return for my honest review about it and I ‘m sure glad they did. I received a cup with a silicone drinking spout and a removable double handle to let my child try. Our first use went well. My daughter drank easily from the cup and was able to easily hold the handles. My biggest concerns were weather or not it is truly spill proof and will my teething child be able to easily bite a whole in the nipple. My concerns were alleviated quickly. The cup did not leak on the first use and my daughter didn’t bite a whole in it on the first use. After she used it the first day I cleaned it by disassembling it and putting all the parts into the dishwasher. It came out nice and clean and went back together just as it should. The next time my daughter used it I kept the handles off and she was still able to hold it perfectly. Overall this is a great cup, the only downside is that if she wanted to, my daughter could chew a hole in the nipple and it would no longer be spill proof.

Our daughter has been difficult to find a bottle or sippy cup. She was breastfed and hated anything but breast. Our daughter easily took to this sippy cup. The spout is a little different than other brands and she loved it. She would actually unlarch to suck on the sippy cup and then latch back on. It’s been a slow process but this sippy makes design was one than worked to easily traction her to a sippy. The only negative is she collapses the spout but she’s already learned how to make it pop back up. Overall I love that my daughter has taken to this sippy so easily. It has easy grip handles, so she can carry it wherever she goes. I’m very happy with this product and would recommend it to others. I received this product from the Stellar testing panel. My 17 month old son loves it. It’s sleek it’s easy to use and cleaning it was very easy too. It was a great cup for transition from bottle to sippy cup. I also loved the color. The handles really helped my son hold it and walk with it. I didn’t have any issues with leaking either...I t’s just a great cup I definitely would recommend to all moms and dads.

The Chicco two-handled silicone cup is cute and stylish. The adorable animal character was appealing to both myself and my toddler, and I loved how there was a consistent color scheme between the character and the rest of the cups’ features like the easy grab handles. My 18 month old had no trouble picking up this cup and drinking from it herself. The handles are removable, so we tried it both with and without the handles and my daughter didn’t seem to have any trouble with either. I love the fact that this cup offers interchangeable spouts. As a parent, any product that can grow with your child is a huge win. It not only saves you money in the long run, but also the hassle of having to buy all new sets of cups, etc. when your child enters the next feeding stage. Unfortunately, I received this cup with a spout that was meant for a much younger child who is just transitioning from a bottle. My 18 month old had a suck that was much too powerful for this spout which caused it to fold down on itself, due to a vacuum-like effect. This made my daughter extremely frustrated as she couldn’t get it to pop back up on her own and wasn’t able to continue drinking from it until I manually pinched the spout to release the air so it could return to its natural shape. Having said that, I believe this wouldn’t have been a problem if we had the correct spout for her, as there are several interchange spouts for different ages and stages. I wasn’t able to try the other spouts though, so I can not say for sure. Aside from the issue with the spout, I was pleased to find that this cup never leaked and fit nicely in my diaper bag. I love that it comes with an easy to snap on cap. No one likes pulling out their child’s sippy cup from the bag to find it covered in hair, dust, or dirt! Lastly, the cup was easy to clean. The lid and the silicone spout easily come apart and because this cup is more wide than it is tall, I didn’t even need a bottle brush to clean it, hooray! This was the first sippy cup we introduced to our 8-month old. It took him a bit of time but he's now mastered lifting it up with the handles. He enjoys tossing it off his high chair, and there's been no leaks or spills with this cup! The soft silicone spout has made it easy to go from bottle to cup (we're just doing water in this right now) but I think a little bit wider spout might have been preferred by him at first. I like the handles are removable and appreciate there are ounce markings on the outside if you're giving milk, formula or water so you can easily track their consumption. We'll continue to use this cup as we make the transition to cups from bottles over the next few months. We had the opportunity to test the Chicco Two Handled Silicone Transition Cup and absolutely loved it. My daughter quickly adapted to using it and found the handles easy for her to use. The soft silicone spout almost resembled a bottle (simply be the touch, definitely not by the looks) and it seems to have provided her more comfort than the harder plastic tops that we've used in the past. My only reason for a 4 star review vs. a 5 star - was that the cup would be susceptible to leaking. My daughter quickly found that by tipping the cup upside down and resting the nipple part on a hard surface - milk/liquid would come out - making for an easy mess. Also, I found that if you over tighten the top - it will be likely to leak as well. I also found that when my daughter would drink from the cup - it top would fold in - which made for a frustrating experience for her. I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I liked this cup more for my 2-year old than my 1-year old. It spills easily, so wasn’t a good fit for the younger one. But my 2-year old loves it and uses it with the handles or without. I love the silicone spout. I would prefer if the entire cup were silicone. I love that it comes with a lid for the car, and that it’s dishwasher friendly. Overall a great sippy that I would recommend for older toddlers.

We like the Chicco Transition Sippy Cup! It’s easy to use for both mom and baby. No hard to clean valves, and no leaking! My child loved the soft silicone top. I liked how Chicco has a large lineup of cups and you can just change the spout/lid type as your child grows. This cup is the earliest in its lineup (good at 4 months) and there are 6 total lids/spouts to use with your child past 12 months. We love the Chicco Two Handled Silicone Transition Cup. We started our daughter on it when she was 11 months old and she loved using a 'big girl cup' like her big sister. I love that even after being tossed around, dropped and found laying on it's side it did not leak! With it's versatility I'm excited to try this cup without handles and with the different spouts as she grows. This was the perfect transition from part formula to part milk (then full on milk) and the line markers on the side made making formula in it easy. And, I love that it has a travel lid! We received this cup as a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and we were excited to give it a try. We love the silicone spout and cleaning/putting together the pieces was a breeze. The cup dries easily since it doesn't have many crevices for water to hide. Saving space on my drying rack is a major plus. My son tried to spill his water multiple times without success. Finding a training cup that does't leak is also a game changer! The only problem I found was it took some effort for my son to finish a cup of water. This cup has various lid options which is also nice so we won't have to toss when my son outgrows the lid. We went ahead and ordered the next level lids try. This cup is definitely worth a try for beginners!

We received this cup as part of the Stellar Product Testing Product. I really like the handles on the cup as this made the transition to a sippy cup easier for my son. I also appreciate the fact that they can be removed so that he can use it as he gets older. I like the soft spout but we had issues with the spout folding in which made my son frustrated. I would have to pop it back out with my hand almost every time he drank. This was my only real complaint. It was not 100% leak proof but was comparable to most sippy cups and did the job as long as it wasn’t tipped over. I do like that it is easy to clean!
