Description

For younger children, the Chicco BravoFor2 Standing/Sitting Double Stroller features a traditional padded stroller seat, five-point harness, large adjustable canopy, and removable tray with two cup holders. For infants, the stroller seat folds forward to accept any Chicco infant car seat with easy click-in attachment (car seat sold separately).

For older siblings, the BravoFor2 is outfitted with a bonus back seat and platform where big kids can choose to sit or stand. The seat folds away easily when unoccupied and includes a three-point harness for security. Easy-grip handles provide added stability for standing and a backrest gives extra support.

The BravoFor2 is designed with a one-hand, ultra-compact quick fold for easier maneuvering and storage. An integrated handle easily activates the fold and simultaneously rotates the front wheels inward to keep the folded unit standing. Once the stroller is closed, the fold handle also doubles as a carry handle.

Treaded rubber tires, full suspension, and front swivels help maintain a smooth ride for both passengers in every configuration. One-touch brakes keep the stroller in place when parked. A padded push-handle, parent tray with two cup holders, and large storage basket with front and rear access provide added convenience for mom or dad.

Q: Can this stroller be used with an infant and a 17 month old at the same time?

submitted by Dad named Larey - 1 month ago
  • A: The BravoFor2 stroller can be used with two children at the same time and is compatible with any Chicco infant car seat. We recommend using the car seat in the stroller from birth to 6 months. The front seat of the stroller may be used without the infant car seat from 6 months to 40lbs. It is recommended the platform be used for a child from 2 ½ years old (with good balance and coordination), and up to 40 lbs.

One of the front tires keeps popping off. I like how easy it is to fold, however, I dislike that this is not for an infant. My baby is 8 months old and the front seat does not recline in the event baby falls asleep.

I did read the review before purchase, but the desire to fit both newborn with my 4 yrs old son makes me blind. My sons did like it, but the stroller itself is already too heavy, with the poor quality of wheels, I can’t even walk it straight in the neighborhood whenever there’s slight slope on the curve. Don’t make the same mistake like me, save your money for other stroller with better qualities and designs.

I’m really disappointed in this stroller. Especially considering it was over 300+ dollars. Ever since I got it it’s very hard to maneuver it sucks at turning. You basically have to lift it to do any turning . Considering I’ve had it for 6 months it already sounds like it’s gonna fall apart with all the squeaking and grinding it makes when it moves. I regret buying this stroller thought it was gonna be easier to use for my baby and toddler but it’s made it harder. Save your money and don’t buy this stroller if you want a double one.

The reason I dislike this stroller is because the front seat doesn’t decline enough. Now that my daughter is able to sit up and use the front seat, I worry about her falling asleep because she is sitting upright the whole time. The rear tire also is bent and quite annoying to say the least. It’s hard to steer and a bit elongated. It’s not that good considering the crazy price tag. I wouldn’t recommend this product based on quality vs price.
1 reply from Chicco Brand Experts team - 3 years ago
We hope you will connect with our Customer Service team (online at ChiccoUSA.com or via phone at 877-424-4226) about the rear tire. It wasn't shipped with a bent tire so something occurred in use which caused the tire to be bent. We may have a replacement part which would restore the product. The BravoFor2 has a remarkably short wheel base for a double stroller which most users find make the stroller easier to steer. The front seat does have limited recline which is a directly related to the short wheel base of the stroller, making it very compact when folded.

While I do like how light it is for getting in and out of the car. However, it does not work very well when you have a 3 year old in the 98th percentile. I got this with the intention of going for walks with my newborn and 3 year old, but for my 3 year old It is already to small for her. I got this because I really did not want to get a double wide, not a fan of how much space they take up. This was nice and Compact. I find it difficult to maneuver when I have both kids on the stroller. It is very stiff when turning. I wish I spent my money on a stroller with higher weight limits and maneuvers better. Honestly the only options out there are double wide strollers. ;-(

The Chicco Bravo for 2 was designed specifically for the points you referenced: more compact and lighter weight. Nonetheless, any stroller built for two passengers will be heavier than a single stroller and with the weight of two passengers will require more force to navigate.

Pros: surprisingly easy to fold and open. Light weight. Almost compact to carry on my sedan trunk. Cons: front seat does not lean back enough for a comfortable ride. Back seat doesn’t have a back rest. Baby seat a bit tricky to latch on to the stroller for first timers.
1 reply from Chicco Brand Experts team - 4 years ago
Thanks for the review of the Chicco Bravo for 2 Double Stroller. Our goal was to make a very compact double stroller and the front seat recline being limited was a result of this design choice. We hope you have, overall, a positive user experience with this stroller.

This is by far the best double stroller for a baby and toddler. Does it have a few issues YES but the fact that it is not big like other double strollers is why I love it. My few issues: when folded there is no locking thing to hold it closed, ok we get the seat don’t recline that much but not that big of deal, the cup holders are not that deep but not a big deal either. The fact that its the size of a single stroller when folded is what sold me. My daughter bought a big double stroller and it didnt fit in her trunk so grandma bought this for her to use and it will fit perfect. It is worth the price. I got it on sale, I would NEVER pay $299 for this. I 100% recommend this. I would say for ages newborn and up in the front and 2 and up in the backseat. It also pushes and turns so easy!!!!

This stroller is great size, it doesn’t feel like you’re pushing around a bus. The MAJOR con is the main seat barely reclines making it just about impossible for your little one to take a nap. We had to use blankets so our daughter could lean on while trying to nap...didn’t work out for a long nap. Other than that major flaw the stroller is great. It’s easy to open/close, it’s easy to drive, the canopy is nice and blocks wind/sun. Like others have said this would be better priced around the $200 mark.

I love this stroller! I have a newborn and a 2 year old. My 2 year old loves to sit or stand! I feel safe with her in it. I just hate that she wouldn’t be able to nap comfortably since there’s no back to her seat. I also don’t like that I can’t access the storage underneath when she’s sitting! Other than that, great stroller! Not too bulky or heavy.

I like most everything about this stroller, works great for my infant and my 2 year old! The only things I find annoying is the handle doesn’t move or adjust for height differences and I’m 5’8 and sometimes I kick the toddler stand on the back. Otherwise it’s been great!

LOVE this stroller! We originally bought a different brand/style and it felt like a bus it was so long and didn’t turn well. This one feels much more compact and turns on a dime. I love that our Chicco car seat snaps right in for our newborn and our 2.5 year old loves riding in the back. I wondered if it would bother him facing me instead of forward but he is always excited to sit in the back. Great product!
