Q: Does this car seat fit into the Baby Trend snap and go stroller?

A: It does yes (although there are a couple of different Baby Trend Snap and Go Strollers now so just double check their website), but Chicco has a snap and go as well if you are buying one. If you already have a snap and go yes the Key Fit should fit.

A: I want to say I didn't try cause it's not safe for any car seat put on top of shopping carts. I always had mine in the basket.

Q: How do the straps adjust? Do you have to re-thread them. Does the base have different recline positions?

A: The straps will tighten/loosen using the button and pull strap on the front edge. As far as adjusting the height of the straps(where they go though the seat, at your baby's shoulder height) you will need to re-thred as baby grows. The base does have a spring loaded part, on the bottom rear side, that adjusts very easily to keep the base level in different cars. For example, in a car with very slanted seats you would let that part extend down further to counter the seat angle, or could flatten it back out if not needed. Kind of hard to explain...

A: It comes with the newborn insert which includes the body support and head support. You can use them together or just the head support by itself, but not just the body support by itself.

I agree with other reviews the sun block cover could be better. What bothers me the most about this car seat is how heavy it is. My baby is only 15 pounds and i struggle getting this car seat into our rav4. I can't imagine it being heavier than it already is. If I could go back I would have went with the lightest option out there. The last thing you need to worry about as a mom is transporting your baby safely and comfortably.

Great car seat! Be aware when ordering from target. We purchased ours in April 2024 and it showed up as manufactured in June 2022…essentially taking off 2 years of use as the seat expires 6 years after manufacturing date. Otherwise, great purchase!

I received this car seat as a gift for my daughter almost 6 years ago. I will forever buy this brand of car seat especially the key fit. It doesn't take up much room it's easy to install. I just bought this one a couple of months ago because the one I bought for my daughter expired in December and I had my son in November. I was able to use the original purchase twice within a 5-year. It saved me a little bit of money until I was able to get this one.

My child was very uncomfortable in this car seat. She hates going in it and breathed funny everytime we put her inside of it . Seems like others have had this problem. With the amount of different travel systems I’d consider something else

LOVE this system! We used it for about 7 months before our son just got to be too heavy to carry around for our backs. Stroller steers easily, easy to install, love the easy click system, and more padding on the seat than a lot of others on the market. My husband said it was “worth every penny”. Only dislike is that the cover is a pain to take off, but really they all are. We used Graco for a long time but they have skimped on some things and seem more cheaply made than in times past

We had this car seat/travel system with my first & loved it. Bought a Graco travel system which I was not happy with at all, didn’t think I can just buy an updated Chicco car carrier to go with the Chicco stroller I already had. So happy I could!

I don’t like this because My child hates and looks like very uncomfortable in it too. The stroller is hard to push around and it’s broke too.I wouldn’t recommend at all..I’m looking for to replace it..Don’t buy it…

Even a casual search of user reviews, laboratory independent testing and published expert comparisons will prove that your viewpoint is very uncommon. We hope you find a seat that your child does not hate and one in which they look comfortable. Your review mentions a stroller but it's not clear at all which stroller you are referencing.

Used this with our 3rd. It’s so much easier to install than the infant car seats I used with our first two. The easy installation was the big selling point for me. My only complaint is that to move the handle you have to push the buttons on both sides which is tricky to do with your hands full. I’ve been using it for 8 months with my daughter and it’s held up well. She was a big baby (close to 10 pounds at birth) and so I’m not sure how well it works with smaller newborns, but for us it has worked really well and is easy to adjust as she grows.

I'm a first time mom and got this at my baby shower. While the quality is really good, my daughter looks really uncomfortable in it (she's a peanut. 3 months now and about 11lbs). When I say uncomfortable I mean her head is slightly tilted forward and sometimes freaks me out because it looks like she can't breathe comfortably. I also wish this model had a one-Hand release for the carry handle.
