Deniz Camp is an award-winning writer of comics, prose, television, and film. The first generation son of Turkish and Filipina immigrants raised in the heart of the Midwest, after undergrad and med school Deniz worked in medicine and political organizing abroad, then left medicine to pursue his passion for writing. He's done work for Image Comics, Millarworld, Vault Comics, Scout Comics, and Red Cabin Comics and has been featured on The Guardian, CBR, comicbook.com, io9, and more.
