Chunky Knit Throw Blanket - Hearth & Hand™ with Magnolia

If the blanket is in the same room as me, there is fuzz all over me. Not just my clothes. My face, hair, lips, in my EYES! Disaster. My cats shed less.

I rarely write reviews… this blanket should come with a HUGE warning about washing. I got this as a Christmas gift from my husband. Upon first opening, there was a strong odor, so I washed it… with 3 items of clothes of my 6 year olds. The blanket hair that came off in the dryer was unreal. I had to clean out the dryer itself from all the hair, but the worst was what was covering my son’s clothes. I rewashed those items and the hair still clung to them. I spent 30 min. trying to get all of it off the wet clothes. Praying the dryer vent will get the rest off. Joanna Gaines should know better than to have this kind of blanket made and sold.

Beautiful color and holds its shape after washing it. However, this sheds everywhere. After having it for a few months I just had to give it away. Not a practical purchase if you’re looking for a living room throw to use often.

This blanket sheds worse than anything we have ever owned. It sheds all over our floor, on our clothes, . . . it’s literally everywhere! Outside of the shedding, it is soft and absolutely beautiful (for a week); I just wish it didn’t shed.

I regret buying this throw... It's very pretty, but it sheds like crazy!!! I tried hand washing it to see if got better, but it didn't get better at all. My house and clothes are full of white fluff. I'll be "throwing" it away. No pun intended...

I got this blanket as a gift and was completely excited to use it until the shedding ruined my new couch 😩. They should take this off of the market or advertise it as something else because you cannot possibly use this thing as a blanket!!

I have to say I feel people are being harsh with the one star review due to shedding. It does shed, but to be expected with the fabric honestly 🤷♀️ I sleep with it every night and it is perfection. And during the day, a gorgeous throw over my couch. I would absolutely buy again

Sheds like crazy. Absolute waste of money, and I didn’t realize till I started using it and my dog got on it and couldn’t return. I had to throw it away it was so bad

They’re beautiful and soft, but the shedding is co lately out of control, and for the price, I’d expect better quality.

I am in love with this blanket! I read what some wrote about the fuzziness, but it hasn’t bothered me in my home at all. It reminds me of a favorite sweater. I have one over a chair and one on the end of my bed. It is Absolutely beautiful and it has received lots of compliments from guests. I am glad I decided to get it because it’s the look I love and I enjoy it everyday.

First let me agree with others here on the fuzz factor. It does shed a lot. I noticed that in the store wearing black when I bought it!!! But, I expect that from many blanket throws of this type. I didn't buy it intending on using it as a body covering - I bought it to use more as decor thrown over a white chair or at the end of my bed, so for that it's very pretty. The two colors offered are beautiful! The light mint green is just that, not too blue or green, and no brown woven in...just a pretty light green. I also purchased the ivory color and it's a perfectly creamy light ivory white. It's not too yellow or dark ivory, it's not beige and has no brown weaved into it, but it's not stark white either. Creams and ivory are pretty much my favorite colors and I'm very picky. I have many bedding items and throws already but this was just such a perfect cream color that I had to have it. All in all, if you're looking for something to use to cover up with, I'd pass on this due to the open knitting (it wouldn't be terribly warm and it would catch on things), but as a decor piece, it's very pretty and chunky.
