Clairol Nice'n Easy Permanent Hair Dye, 6R Light Auburn Hair Color, Pack of 1

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perhaps it was due to my growing age, or even stress, but I was experiencing what felt like a sudden growth spurt of white and grey hairs throughout my head. I was initially going to purchase Root Touch up by Clairol so that I could just deal with my roots, but I decided to get the Nice’n Easy permanent hair color. I think that I was pretending that I actually had more hair that I actually did in convincing myself that this was what I needed. I ended up using only a third of the bottle since I wanted to just target my roots. Now, whenever I used boxed hair dye, I always made sure to start with oily hair because of the subsequent drying effects of hair dye, which effectively worked like a de-greasing shampoo. I followed the instructions that came with the bottle and put the gloves on to mix the two bottles together into the applicator bottle. I forgot that the the application was going to be a bit more runny than what a root touch up would be like. I knew that this was an all over hair color but I decided to use this hair color for my roots only. So, I applied the color with the applicator about an inch or two from my roots for about 25 minutes and showered the color off my hair. The result of a full coverage of my grey hair. Not so clever on my part was the assumption that the natural dark brown would completely blend in perfectly with the rest of my hair. This was really my own blunder. I could tell that my roots were a tad lighter than other naturally darker parts of my hair. This product did its job but I think that with my next attempt to cover my greys, I may need to do better color matching. Better yet, I may just get root touch up to get a more thicker consistency.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The color came out very similar to the Clairol MyShade App predictions and the formula is not irritating. The color seems to be holding up well even with regular hair washing in hot water. I will definitely use this brand in the future.

The aroma of the dye isn't disgusting and smells up my entire house. I will continue to use this brand as well. I'm very happy to spend this price verses 90 at the salon for the same results.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think Clairol is on the right track for the blue black color, but not quite there. I loved how easy the product was to use and seriously, you can't beat their color seal conditioner. I'd buy the hair kit just for that conditioner! Unfortunately, the blue black that the app showed me and I fell in love with, I just didn't get that from the corresponding Clairol Nice & Easy kit. I ended up going to beauty supply store and having to re-dye my hair to get the color I fell in love with from using the app. Would the color have been different if I'd have bleached my hair first? Maybe. I will definitely use Clairol for touch ups because it's so easy to use and my hair feels amazing after. But for the color I've achieved now, I don't think I can achieve the all over look with what Clairol currently has available. At least not in my area of the world.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't tried the Nice'n Easy brand in a long time because I had been going to the salon for touch-ups. Since the campaign was running, however, I figured I'd give it a shot. I was very pleasantly surprised! I have very long, mid-back, thick brown hair. I tend to go for cooler browns because I have red in my skin so I try to off-set it with my hair color. But this time I chose a dark brown because I'm starting to get little gray hairs at the top of my head and on the sides, and wanted a complete coverage. So I chose the Natural Dark Brown. It was easy to find and priced very fair. The scent was a chemical-type smell as most hair dyes usually are, but it wasn't overwhelming and was manageable. It came with easy to read instructions and I was able to mix it with no trouble. I worried there might not be enough dye in the kit with how much hair I have, but happily it covered my entire head without any difficulty. I let it set and washed it out with no issues. It was true to the box color and came out a nice, dark brown with no redness. After a couple days of washing, no changes with color and still a nice full coverage. I have been very happy with this hair dye and plan to incorporate it into my hair-coloring routine. I do recommend this brand.

I tried the Clairol Nice n Easy in the shade Natural Light Brown. I've never dyed my full head before, just done a few highlights here and there, so it was a new experience for me. I thought it covered the greys very well and I love how it looks! I will def. buy this again!

So when I received the offer on the NNE hair color, I was hesitant. I gave it shot and I must say it came out AWESOME! My hair is soft and bouncy. I have colored before and it left my hair feeling crispy and dry. Not The NNE soft black color, it really made my hair light and soft and the color POP!! I really love it. It's been two weeks now and it looks even better now that it has set in.

I usually go with light blondes, but I really liked how the reds made my eyes pop. The color I used wasn't exactly what that app showed, but that's probably because I have some natural red undertones in my hair, and it ended up working well for me. The dye provided excellent coverage, was easy to use, and I love my results!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used Nice & Easy yesterday to recolor my hair, they have the awesome new APP that helps you decide on a color. I chose a couple colors, and then I actually allowed my husband to decide on the final decision in the store. We chose Natural medium caramel brown. I have been growing my hair out for almost a year, and haven't really used any permanant hair color on my hair during the grow out stage. I am now at the length I had goals for and knew right away I was ready to decide on a color after using the APP.. My hair is naturally medium blonde,so most hair color sticks to my hair pretty fast. My results with this hair color was a good one, not great but good. I applied the color to my hair, and waited the time allotted and sat down to watch some tv. Most hair colors burn your scalp or give you a itchy scalp, I found that with this brand , my scalp wasn't nearly as itchy and didn't burn as much as other brands. When my timer went off, I was excited to see my results.. I washed my hair and added the conditioner that is included in the bottle (Ya'll need to bottle that heaven and sell separately also) and then dried my hair.. Now the color wasn't exactly what was shown on the box, my hair turned up a bit lighter than the color shown, my hair seems to have more red in it than I started.. But none the less I love the turn out!!! I started with blonde shabby hair and ended up with soft, vibrant colored hair..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nice N Easy dye was ok.. I'm a licensed cosmetologist so using these aren't really my favorite. The color wasn't really anything special to me. The smell was really strong, so make sure you have a window open when you're using this!

This dye also stained my skin more than any hair dye ever has. The color so far is nice after the actual application and 30 minutes scrubbing my skin with alcohol. I however would not buy this product.

The app was a life saver and made color selection so much easier and less time and above all less stress. The color touch up the areas needing in a breeze. highly recommend it.
