Read and follow instructions on enclosed leaflet. Before coloring, do the allergy test and strand test. With gloves on, open tube 1 and squeeze contents into bottle 2; shake. Otherwise I followed the directions. Followed up with a cold rinse and the provided conditioner. Color only lasted about 2 weeks before beginning to fade.

The new semi permanent dye changes from old formula to new is not living up to quality expectations like the old formula Recently brought the new formula color black and had a negative response Doesn't seem as if the new formula a a sensitive base to the product My beautician also said that the new formula she was not expressed with the quality of the product and said she would find a different product to use

It applied easily, without any problems, and covered nicely. It did not seem to damage the hair, nor did it dry out. This color does not fade quickly, so you won't have to dye frequently. I would recommend this to anyone who needs to color their hair dark, but not totally black, with a little pop of color and on a budget.

This has been my staple color product for decades. It has gone through changes, but always managed to produce the color depicted and cover my grey perfectly. The formula recently changed, and it does NOT cover the grey. It just turns it a light amber/orange color, in my case. I gave it another chance, but it again failed to cover my grey. It was the perfect product. Why must it keep changing???? Now I am in search of a proper replacement.
