This was recommended to me as an excellent plant based protein. If you enjoy the challenge of hunting down the nearest public bathroom while actively attempting to not soil yourself, then this is the product for you. Beyond the chalky texture, the iffy taste, and the fact that this protein absorbs liquids better than any industrial sponge, it could easily be a dupe for a colonoscopy prep. I’ve tried mixing it with juice - it’s fine if you chug it - and baking it into my oatmeal - will easily absorb the 946ml carton of nut milk x, but no dice. It remains the most effective and unpredictable laxative I’ve ever had the displeasure of ingesting. Stay away from this unless you like cleaning your bathroom hourly.

The stevia aftertaste was a little harsh for me, but I tamed it by adding 2 cups of greens to the blender along with the 4 frozen bananas, 1 1/2 cups frozen pineapple, coconut milk and water, and 1 1/2 scoops of the Vanilla Classic. I also enjoyed a frozen blueberry version when I was out of pineapple and coconut milk. For that one I used 4 bananas, frozen blueberries, whole almonds, water, and kale. I really enjoyed that one. Now that I have finished the Vanilla Classic it’s on to the Chocolate Classic. I am looking forward to trying it!

I love sun warrior! I am new to plant based protein. Love the chocolate! Easy to drink. The taste is different, so you have to get used to it. I add peanut butter and it helps! I added keto whip to mine and it was a treat :) Definitely would buy again.

If you have a lactose intolerance or allergy restrictions, this rice-based protein powder is a great option. I've tried generic rice protein powders that did the job, but Sunwarrior's product is noticeably easier to digest and mixes well with oat milk, coffee, water, etc.

I think I am actually doing ok with this item. Diagnosed with crohns/colitis so other protects don’t always sit well with my digestive system. This one seems to be doing well in that regard. The taste is taking some getting used too, not that great and I am not sure I am getting the full required amino acids. Rice containing proper amino acid profile sounds odd to me. ?? :blush: but, giving it a try. Big appreciation for company replacing my small container of pea/hemp for this large rice to try though. Very nice ! Thank you !!

As someone who has an allergy to whey protein, having a vegan protein to substitute is great! I always make sure to sub this in every time I go to a smoothie ship as it's one of the few proteins I can tolerate!

Taste of protein shake

The protein shake has a challenge like after taste and is not as filing as other protein shakes I have had in the past. I do not have an allergic reaction to it, like I did with nother protein shake. So that was good. I will not purchase this product again.

Sunwarrior Protein Powders are the absolute best I have tried. I've tried 4 other vegan protein powders and Sunwarrior is by far superior. The clean ingredients make me confident in my choice that it's the best on the market. The powder is not gritty, has a great taste, is not bitter, and packs a generous amount of protein in each scoop. I highly recommend all of their Protein Powder Flavors.
