I bought one two yeras ago and is Stiller working like the first day. I recomend it.

This is my second Coast Polysteel 600. And just like my first one, the twist-focus does not move. No matter how hard I try. I even tried using pliers. It wouldn't budge. I assumed that my first P600 was defective. I kept it, because it was a gift. Now my 2nd P600 has the same issue. There are complaints about this in the reviews AND other places online. One person got desperate and put WD40 on it. That didn't even work! People have been complaining about this for years. Why hasn't Coast done anything about it? Like I said, I am on my SECOND P600 that won't twist. I will not purchase this a third time, nor will I recommend it to others. And that's sad, because otherwise, it's a good flashlight. I just hate false advertising. It really gets under my skin.

Replaced faulty a light I owned for many years. The process was easy and did not require interacting with anyone.

It's well engineered and tough. I own 5 of these and have gifted another 5. Controls are good and has a bright focused beam.

My wife gave the Coast Polysteel 600 as a gift a few years back and it has been my smaller go to light I carry in my Jeep. Had a switch failure issue a couple of months ago and realized the Coast products have a lifetime warranty so I turned in the complaint and received a new light replacement. Awesome product and service. It’s good to own a product that the company stands behind.

I bought a Polysteel 600 some years ago, and over time it became increasingly finicky and difficult to turn on, until it failed altogether. I eventually filed a warranty claim and Coast did send a replacement. However, the replacement worked only briefly out of the box before failing. Based on this, I can only conclude that the flashlight is of very poor quality and design. I'm very disappointed with this model and the company.

I obtained this product as a result of a warranty issue with a returned one. This one works fine except, as you function through the light setting, it goes from medium to bright to dim. Not quite in the usual order.

I know have purchased the third one of these and yet it still remains messed up the light won't stay off and it comes on when it wants to doesn't come on when I needed to I've had one of these before the very first one I had I loved it I still love this flashlight is my favorite one and that one was great I loved it somebody stole it so I got another one and I've had a problem with them ever since about another one because the second one didn't work good and I bought a third one because the second one didn't work good so now I got three flashlights that don't work and they're not cheap if I could come across the same flashlight with a promise that it's going to work like the first one did I would be totally happy a good company great flashlights just default product unfortunately I'm not happy about it

Drains the battery way to fast even on the lowest setting. I can't keep it charged enough and I'm going thru a lot of batteries

Just received my second polysteel 600. I’ve owned the first for about 7 years. Great flashlights, very bright and easily focused. I’ve given these as gifts to my sons who love them. I use one every day to inspect projects I am running on my 3D printer where I require a bright, focusable light source capable of revealing fine detail down to 4 or 5 thousandths of an inch. Thinking about purchasing Coast’s new voice activated headband light for even greater, “ hands free”, functionality.

Light works fine. Lifetime warranty is good BUT to get a replacement is as costly as purchasing a new light.
