Needs two people to set up, but not difficult. We use it for camping and occasionally for outdoor shade at home. Holds up well. Keeps off rain, allows for ventilation.

I purchased the 13'X13' model #20000004409 over 15 years ago. I used it many times at Table Rock Lake in Missouri ad different Lakes in Kansas, about 3 weeks ago we were camping at El Dorado Lake and a big storm came up, I did not have time to take the canopy down, we got hit with 50 to 60 mph winds, my canopy was twisted, but it did not break!! I had each leg anchored with 5 gal bucket filled with water, only 1 bucket fell over. I am still amazed that it didn't break!

Use for camping and parties. Any breeze and the thing takes off, even if tied and staked. That's ok but if the parts bend or the corner of the canopy has a hole from the poles, you can't repair it because they don't sell the parts. Other companies sell replacement parts to fix the canopy. If Coleman thinks this will just make me buy another one they are crazy, we will buy from a company that sells the parts. This item, no matter who makes it always runs the risk of a wind blowing it over! Should be prepared for that!

Great product, easy set up, awesome coverage and all around great purchase. I've had mine for 5 years and it still working great. I'm a D.J. and in the summer I have lots of bookings outside. It has been set up and taken down thousands of times and is STILL flawless! Just wish I could get walls for it.

Living in Texas, you have to find any way to get out of the heat. We take our canopy everywhere. Amazing investment at an even more amazing price. Love taking this to the beach or just hanging out in the backyard. Super durable and stable. Easy assembly.

We have bought this shelter now for the fourth time. We leave it up all year in Southern California. Lasts about two years before we replace it. Love it! It can lower down for when the winds come through .

This is a handy shelter to have. We use ours a lot. It is easy to set up and take down. It is easy to pack and carry. It is strong and has held up to a lot of use. The size is just right for us to have the shade we want but not be big and bulky.

Picked this nice awning up in May 2023 for our camping season this summer. Unfortunately the canopy material has torn along the seams. One side hasa tear of about 15 inches and the other side is torn about 6 inches. The canopy is 3 months old. Very dissappointed with my first Coleman.

Pretty poor quality, which is disappointing coming from Coleman. Purchased new from a retail store only 1 month ago. The leg extensions don’t lock into place so it’s perpetually stuck at half height, and when getting it out for only the second time, one of the linkages that connect the peak of the frame to the edge of the frame completely shattered.

We bought this to take to the beach. After only 4 uses the metal frame snapped while setting it up. In 15 years and have only needed to buy a couple canopies. This purchase barely made a year and was barley used.

Replacement Canopy needed but not available

After 2 years, our first canopy started to break down and I could not get a replacement canopy. The frame was just fine. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of buying a new pop up shelter last Spring. This winter, mice chewed holes in it in my shed. I would love to get a replacement canopy, but they still don't seem to be available. Why? I now have two perfectly good frames that I would love to get canopies for and can't.

Hello Coleman Team, You should consider providing replacement canopies in order to keep your customers. I see several customers, like me, came here looking for a replacement, which they would have purchased the day they wrote their reviews. But instead, because you don't make one available, they went to a competitors site to buy a full replacement hoping it'll last longer. You are just losing customers because you don't provide replacements, not to mention your decisions increase waste. The marketing team needs to understand how poorly this reflects on the Coleman brand.

The third season of use, the canopy tore when putting it up. As the canopy weathers it appears to become more brittle over time. So don’t plan to get more than 2 years out of this canopy. Very disappointed that no replacement canopy is available; how wasteful when the frame is perfectly good.

Workmanship is Questionable

Canopy is a good size at 13x13. The workmanship is questionable if not just plain poor. The stitching began to give way on one side after about 4 days. Evidently the ensuing stress on the fabric/stitching became too much as the opposite side began to tear at the seams as well. Side number 3 is now beginning to tear at the seams as well. Total time used was about 7 times. The positive aspect of this review is that the actual double stitched seam is still holding on at the joints. As for the metal frame, unlike other reviews, this one I'd still holding strong. Good canopy if used indoors.

I bought this canopy 8 years ago and I used it for car show relay easy to set up and put away, is so nice that I just bought a second one. I will want to know if the canvas is available separately. I am writing this review because I see people complaining about this canopy an seem to be that they been using it permanently bases is not to be used like that.

I put this up by myself in about 15 - 20 minutes. It's sturdy and just what i wanted. It beat all others that i had. Hope the come out with a replacement top. Thats the only thing, because of the effects of the sun, that might wear out. Great Canopy!
