Collections Etc Elegant Victoria Plush Chenille Bedspread with Fringe Border and Ring Design

I bought this spread and washed it as to fluff it up and that did not work. It is very stiff, and I tried to fluff it up by hand, but the pile length is too short. I wish I had it in a king size so at least it would cover each side of the bed. I have a deep mattress and it makes a difference. It's a pretty color and looks o.k. from far off but not up close. It looks as if I have washed it 10 times unfortunately.

This is nothing like the picture. It recommends that you wash it before using to fluff it back up. It's 100% cotton and poor quality as well. I love how fluffy it looked in the picture and if I wash it and dry it will be too small for sure. If you have a deep mattress go up a size because it's about 8-10 inches from the floor now. I hope it fluffs up but I'm afraid of what size it will be when I'm done. I will use just air dry as not to shrink it. So disappointed.

I would not plan on washing this quilt unless you absolutely have to. The chenille falls out real bad during laundry.

The bedspread looks lovely, though it's a little more bright than I'd like. It's lightweight so it's good for the summer, and in the winter all it needs is a second blanket. My one complaint, after using it for a year, is the fuzz dust. I wipe down the surfaces in my room weekly, and every week there's a fresh layer of red dust on everything. My vent is burgundy now because of all the dust collected on it. I didn't mind too much, but my cat has developed asthma now, and the bedspread definitely didn't help. It's actually kind of incredible that a mostly un-disrupted blanket can float out that much dust everywhere in the room, consistently for a whole year.
