Don’t buy this bed. When I was looking at the reviews I saw one negative and three positive reviews. Naturally, I figured it must have been a one off experience. Upon my attempt to build this bed I’m not convinced that those three positive reviews are actually fake. I spent almost 3 hours attempting to build just the main part of the bed, not even the trundle. I had to notch out bigger holes for the first step. Some of the slats are split, bowed, and too short to provide support. The holes are not aligning properly with the slat support so there is no way to attach them together. The one review said they are just keeping it. I could even get mine completely enough to keep it. I contacted the company, but it was after hours. Then had a contractor come and look at the bed to see if it could be an easy fix. He recommended just returning the entire bed.

The wood is very poor quality and bowed and the frame is crooked. It has these posts to hold up the slats that go under the bed in the middle but then the trundle won’t push in. Very poor and false advertising. I already put it together so I don’t think I can return it since I don’t want to spend another 2 hours taking it apart. I think it will probably break within a few months since it’s for my toddler and he is rambunctious.

Perfect for a guest room or rental house because of the trundle. Because the frame is so simple, its easy to incorprate with whatever décor you have, it will blend righ t in.
