Description
Easily remove stubborn common and plantar warts with this fast-acting, maximum strength formula. Compound W Fast acting wart removal liquid contains salicylic acid, a trusted active ingredient in wart removal. From gels and liquids to freezing methods, there's a Compound W product that's just right for you. Each wart removal type easily and effectively removes warts. The Freeze wart removal method freezes the wart to kill the virus and can remove warts in as few as one treatment. Medicated bandages and topical liquids and gels slowly soften and peel away the wart over time with salicylic acid. While Freeze wart treatments can remove warts relatively quickly, medicated bandages and topical gels and liquids can take up to several weeks to fully remove a wart. Compound W also has special wart remover products specially designed for kids with two removal types — freeze and medicated bandages. Q: Since this product contains Salicylic Acid, would it be alright to walk around barefoot without socks during treatment without it ruining the flooring or carpets if the treated area isn't covered up?

Q: after applying do you just let it sit? do you wipe it off after awhile or does it just disappear in a way?

A: We recommend applying the product and allowing the area to dry after application. Do not to peel or remove the whitened area as you may pull away too much of the wart skin too soon. Please gently wash the area or soak it for 5 minutes and make sure it is dry before reapplying product to the wart twice daily for up to 12 weeks to remove the wart. The white layer will naturally flake off over time as it breaks down the layers of skin in the wart and will also protect the skin as the wart is broken down. When the wart is gone the product and wart will flake off on its own and new pink skin will be underneath.

Went to use it for the first time and everything seemed fine. Realized I needed to coat the wart better, so I reapplied it. When I opened the container a 2nd time — within 5 minutes of the first time — it was almost gel like others stated. It no longer being liquid made it harder to apply

I ordered this just over a month ago. I used it a few times, stored it with the lid securely closed. When I went to use it again, it was all clumped up, dry and jelly like (see pictures). For the price of this, you'd think it would last longer. My warts are improved but not gone (although I didn't use it as consistently as I should have). Will not buy again.

This worked so well! I was skeptical after reading reviews that it dried out. But I made sure to quickly close it between each application and to wipe the opening with alcohol before twisting it close so the top wouldn’t get stuck. I also kept it in a dark place so it would dry up from light exposure. It does have a strong smell so use with a fan on or windows open. This was so easy to use, pain free, and didn’t leave any scarring, unlike the freeze away spray. It also worked so much better than the gel compound W and was less scary than the freeze spray and 1000% cheaper than the dermatologist! After three applications over three days, the warts just disappeared or fell off.

Product hardened/thickened in bottle after several uses. Was only able to use about half the bottle before it got really thick and wouldn’t adhere to skin. Had to throw away.

I had a stubborn plantar wart for 4 years that wouldn’t go away no matter what I tried. It seemed to only be getting bigger. I tried to give this product a try. It seemed to work but very slow. I would apply it then but a tape like band-aide to suffocate the wart. I became impatient and began to pick at the wart and would then place this product after. Ended up giving myself a chemical burn which was excruciating to walk or do anything. I immediately stopped but by then it was too late. I stopped treatment and just covered it up with Neosporin. However it did get rid of the wart I think. I would go through all that pain just to get rid of this thing. 4 stars for getting rid of it after nothing would work !!!

Not only was the compound basically unusable from being too thick (from the very first use), but the fumes were horrific! It’s been 3-4 days and the bottle was tightly sealed, then put in its box, then put in a drawer, then put in a plastic ziplock and I could still smell it across the house. I then put it in the trash, and I can still smell the horrible fumes from a room away.

Great for Minor Warts

Disclaimer: I am not a licensed medical professional. This is product is only meant to be used as a wart remover for minor warts. If you have severe warts, get a consult from a licensed medical professional. This is great for basic warts. I had a wart on my finger the size of my pinkie nail. Follow the directions on the package. My recommendation is to remove as much of the wart as possible (cut, scratch, peel, etc.) before applying the wart remover. This will ensure the wart remover is getting down to the root of the wart. I used it twice a day. My wart went away after 2 days, but I used it one more day just to make sure it killed the wart. After each application, I waited 15 minutes before removing it and washing my hands with soap and water. Warnings: Read the packaging thoroughly before purchasing. It will cause temporary “bleaching“ of the skin where the wart remover is applied. This will go away 3-5 days after you stop using the wart remover and the skin heals. The wart remover is painless unless it is penetrating your skin or getting past the root of the wart. If this happens, I recommend stop applying the wart remover because it is just burning healthy living flesh and not the wart. If this happens, the pain is not bad, it is as if you put alcohol or lemon on a cut. Keep this product away from children because it is flammable, acidic and has alcohol in it. Do not consume or get it in any orifices.

If you leave the bottom open for too long (within minutes) it will chunk up and you will no longer be able to use the product properly. had to purchase a second bottle because of that. learn from me

I opened and used this product several times, only opening the lid long enough to apply, and closing tightly immediately after. Within 3 days the entire jar became a glob of unusable goo that doesn't stick to skin. This is the second jar that I've had seize up like this. The product would be great if you could actually use it for more than a few days.....
