I’ve used contact paper before and for some reason this one was a bit trickier than usual. Had to cut it to restart over. It was hard to get smooth and the paper underneath would tear very easily making it more difficult. It looks really pretty tho!
Nice Look, but can be a bit tricky to use

Love the marble look for an older vanity. Spills just wipe right up and it looks really nice. Use a credit card to smooth out any bubbles that may appear as you’re applying to the surface. I had to pull very gently when applying or it would try to stick back to the adhesive. I did not have any issues with ripping. Can be rather tedious if working with a large surface.
Good for counters as well

We use this as a liner on top of our old countertops. It looks really good and works well. It does take a little effort to apply to all countertops but in the end is worth it. It can rip easily once applied and that would be the only downside.
A MUST BUY!

I actually really like this. We just moved into our new apartment and the drawers have an old wood color to them and this shelf liner makes it look brand new. I see reviews saying how bad the backing paper that covers the adhesive is bad but I just think they tried peeling it back incorrectly. This was my first time using a shelf liner and I had no tears or rips. Only tip I suggest is using a card to smooth it down to the surface. I will say it looks like printing marble (which it is) but from far away you can’t really tell it’s fake. Can’t wait to buy more of this!

i like that this sticky shelf liner has just enough of the stickiness that can be adjusted without difficulty. it's not really thin but easily creates holes when poked. i like that it has grid therefore easy to measure & cut. overall good item.

One of our closet shelves was previously painted with wall paint, so the white comes off on our stuff. I wanted a quick and easy way to cover it up. This worked great. It's easy to reposition if you mess up a little and not so insanely sticky that it's impossible to handle. Sometimes, if the surface it not quite flat, it may wrinkle up a bit, but since no one really sees this shelf, and I just want a smooth and study surface to put bags and boxes onto, it works fine for me. It has a bit of a plasticy smell too, but I hope that goes away. Grids on the back make cutting it really easy.

Horrible Horrible Horrible. Wish I looked up reviews before buying. Backing will not come off evenly no matter what you try. Complete waste of money and time. After trying in 2 kitchen drawers we threw it straight in the trash. I would rather have nothing than this crap

Like many others have stated, the paper won’t peel off the back and I wasted the whole roll. Would not recommend at all.

I purchased this to use on open shelving. It correlates nicely with our countertops. It's easy to use and looks great. The only thing I don't like is it's quite thin. It also easily folds back and sticks to itself. However, once the paper is separated from itself, it will still adhere to the desired surface as expected.

Refused to peel from the backing paper and when it did the backing was feathered out. Spent a couple hours trying to get it behave, including warming it up and cooling it down. Nothing helped. So it's currently residing in the trash. It's the only thing it's good for. Other brands are much more reliable

This contact paper is so bad I had to come warn others. The paper on the back of the adhesive continuously tears while you are trying to separate the two. Never buying this brand again. Never had this much trouble with contact paper in my life.

Absolutely horrible backing. It must have changed since I’ve used this product from my sister and it was totally fine. Now it’s IMPOSSIBLE to remove the backing as it just tears and won’t come off the paper.
Thin backing makes for a terrible product.

I bought the transparent and marble designs. The transparent has a thick, almost wax paper backing that is easy to remove. The product was tacky, but I could still make adjustments once I applied it to the surface. The marble had a super thin backing that constantly tore. I could not get more then 2 inches without the backing shredding to uneven pieces. Also, the tacky part was on the backing instead of the contact paper, which leads me to believe that I just got an old product. Regardless, it is being returned since I cannot use it. I would give it zero stars if I could.
Easy to use.

I purchased this item to line my closet. It does not stick. I could run my hand across it and it would move. The pieces that I lined the bottom of my shelves with fell the next day. I do not recommend this product for covering wood in a closet.

Very easy to use. Just takes a bit of time to line things up right and measure things out. Turned out very nice. Used it for the sink in the bathroom and will be doing the countertops in the kitchen next.

I rent and have a very ugly bathroom vanity top. I covered it with this Con-Tact paper about nine months ago. It still looks nice after a lot of use and looks great with my Hearth & Hand with Magnolia hand towels. This is a good solution if you can’t replace your vanity top.
Was easy to put on but terrible to take off!

I used this paper on top of a dresser and removed it after about a year. The paper had lost all the adhesive when I slowly pulled it off and unfortunately it was all on the dresser. I eventually got it off with lots of scrubbing and acetone but wouldn’t recommend if you want something easy to take off. It also took off some paint.
