Conair Cararra Marble Shears with Safety Blade Cover - 5 1/2"

These are not at all what I expected. I used them once and it will be the last. The micro serrated blades make cutting hair feel so odd. These don’t feel like haircutting scissors. It feels like you are blunt-cutting hair with thick scissors, like kitchen scissors. The blades feel thick and rough. I was only trying to trim a few strands of hair and it felt choppy and not precise. You can ‘see’ where the hair was cut and it’s not good. Honestly think I am better off using other grooming or even nail cutting scissors I have. I don’t recommend these for at-home hair cutting.

I love these scissors for trimming knots or face hair for my Bernedoodle between grooming. They’re the perfect size for my hand, and the serrated edge grasps the hair. I plan to order another pair or two because I love them.

I used it for an emergency trim while visiting my daughter. So impressed I went home and ordered it for myself, replacing a more expensive scissors that felt less comfortable in my hand and offered less control over each snip. It's great!

After years of using kitchen scissors, school scissors, and even little tiny eyebrow scissors to trim my curly hair since I was 12, I saw these in store and decided, "Hey, maybe I'll finally get the results I want. I just used them after getting out of the shower and I absolutely loved how the small serrated blades prevented my hair from slipping away. I trimmed a good 2 inches off and even trimmed my bangs and after letting my hair dry, this is the best result I've seen. I wish I could go back to tell my younger self to invest in scissors like this sooner, lol. I definitely recommend.

Everyone should have some good basic haircutting shears like these for trimming bangs, dead ends, little touch ups, etc! My hair is fine, but very thick – and had gotten stupidly long. Took forever to wash and dry, had to do contortions to brush it all, constantly got tangled… I was just so tired of it all! Decided to use these to cut over 2 1/2 feet off my ponytail, and donate it. Figured as long as I left enough length to work with, my stylist could still do her thing soon as I could get an appointment. I washed, dried, straightened, and thoroughly detangled my hair. No styling products, just detangling spray. Parted it down the center, put it in a low ponytail, pulled the elastic straight down a few inches, then cut it off right below the elastic… et voila! A nice shoulder-length a-line long bob! My stylist and I both liked the look of it on me so much, we decided to just take a little more off the back and make sure everything was perfectly even. I was left with a beautiful angled lob that gradually tapers from the nape of the neck to the collarbone in one smooth line. Honestly the best haircut I’ve ever had! Very low maintenance in every way… yet also the most slimming and flattering cut I’ve ever had in my entire life! Absolutely thrilled! Works straight, wavy, and curly! Has all the pros of both short hair and long hair, and the cons of neither! It’s easy to wash, dry, and style… but can also be wash-and-go! I don’t have to go back for frequent trims, and can still throw it up in a ponytail or clip to keep it out of my face! I may well keep this hairstyle for the rest of my life!

I bought these to do the butterfly cut and they worked perfectly! Just what I needed. Granted I have only used them once and by no means a professional, I think these are great shears. I will be using them in the future to trim my hair and upkeep my bangs.

Pretty good for store bought. I just use them for the little trim of the bangs every now and then.
