Q: How does the dual voltage feature work? I don't see anything to change voltage on the curling iron

submitted by Diane G - 2 years ago
  • A: This unit is designed to be operated at 120/240V AC and the appliance will automatically adjust to the proper voltage.

  • A: The internal function seems to have worked for 4 days in Peru but on the fifth day, the curling iron sparked and the electricity went out in my hotel room. I do NOT recommend this curling iron.

Q: How in the heck am I supposed to curl my hair when there is no handle to hold the hair in place while I'm curling it

submitted by Jessielove1982 - 5 years ago
  • A: You can't! The earlier, and MUCH better, model had a longer tip with an actual hole in it, so one was able to actually hold the tip without burning your fingers. Today's products are cheaply made - just awful. Guess Conair wanted to save money.

  • A: Hi Jessielove 1982! If you push the white lever down the clasp will pop up so you can place your hair, and it will hold your hair in place while you are curing it. Hope this helps!
