The bristles on this item are hard and painful to use on the scalp. Definitely not comfortable for me. I'm going to have to find something made of a soft silicone because this item is made of hard plastic.

This is a very hard plastic, it was so sharp r that it opened my scalp up with minimal scrubbing. It ended up being thrown in the trash.

I want to preface this by saying the bristles on the product are hard and not soft in any way. I’ve always used the scalp massagers with soft bristles so it was hard to get used to, but this is the only scalp massager that’s gotten rid of my dandruff which is exactly what I needed.

goes through my 4c hair well when it’s in the shower. i typically use it when it’s wet and right before i put in shampoo. be careful putting in coily hair or conditioner though, it’s a struggle to get out

This product was exactly what I was looking for to use with medicated shampoos. My hair is fine and thin, which tangles very easily. Using this helps to get better product distribution onto my scalp. I use it in a brushing motion after placing the product. The silicone ones pull my hair out and don't work.

This is THE BEST for distributing prescription medication to scalp! Also for using biofilm busters like ACV or dermazen to break up sebohreic dermatitis (malasezzia fungus overgrowth also known as dandruff) Not flimsy and reaches skin through very densely packed hair. The silicone ones are awful and do nothing. I’m heading to target to buy all they have bc of all the lame reviews. This took out at least 9 months worth of dead skin and fungus from my college kids scalp in 30 minutes. We have been battling this problem for SIX YEARS. In 5 days with this added to our regimen there are zero flakes for the first time since 2018! Insane! Been using ketocanazole shampoo and cream and clobestrol for years with no results. Added one night of acv and this since and wow!!!

This brush is extremely stiff and hurts to use on my scalp as a massager. I tried to see if it would soften up in the heat of the shower water but that made no difference. I’m not sure I would even recommend this to use to brush out conditioner in the shower bc the body and bristles are not a single piece and may dislodge over time. Just tugging on the bristles on the first run through my hair almost broke it

This is perfect for my needs. I've been using scalp scrubs and sprays but noticed that I still had a lot of buildup and my scalp was still itchy. I could scratch off pieces of buildup from my scalp. I remembered that I had a hard plastic bristle brush like this once, so I picked this up right away on a Target run. Upon the first pass through my hair it dislodged so much gunk. You can see in the picture, that was after one pass. It feels great too both by getting rid of gunk and dead skin, as well as stimulating the skin. It's not too hard at all for me, but it might be for others. I love that something can finally actually exfoliate my scalp.

This brush is made out of hard plastic that is not flexible at all. It’s too rough on the scalp and tangled my hair really bad. I could see this being useful to brush hair masks and conditioner through your hair but considering this is marketed as “scalp massage hair brush” it’s horrible. It’s a lot smaller than I anticipated; smaller than the palm of my hand. I would not recommend, there are much better options on the market.

My scalp accumulates build up very fast, despite using clinical strength dandruff shampoos, so I tried this shampoo brush. It feels amazing to use and I was surprised that my hair felt even cleaner (compared to not using a shampoo brush before) after rinsing. Glad I purchased and eager to see if my scalp improves

I love using it in the shower to comb through my hair after shampooing or when I put my conditioner in. My hair sheds & this is so much quicker to pull out the hair then using my hands. It’s a little rough so not really the greatest for massaging gently. It also has the little wings where you can hold it good & I use that to hang it on my shower caddy.

I love this massage brush! I keep it in my shower to brush through my hair after conditioning. It keeps me from having to brush quite so much post-shower and evenly distributes the products I use. I’ve also used it to massage scalp masks into my hair; it absolutely does its job! I’ve had it for a year and a half, now, and it’s held up wonderfully. Definitely worth the purchase!
