Q: Are they 3 inches long

Q: Are these rubber coated? That is what I am looking for.
A: Yes, they feel like a silicone coating, similar to the Scunci No Slip Springless Cushion Chunky Jaw Clips, the photos don't do justice but it's a matte black silicone not just black metal (bobby pins) or black plastic (on the clips).
