Description
From #1 New York Times bestselling author Colleen Hoover, a new novel about risking everything for love?and finding your heart somewhere between the truth and lies.
Auburn Reed has her entire life mapped out. Her goals are in sight and there?s no room for mistakes. But when she walks into a Dallas art studio in search of a job, she doesn?t expect to find a deep attraction to the enigmatic artist who works there, Owen Gentry.
For once, Auburn takes a risk and puts her heart in control, only to discover that Owen is keeping some major secrets from coming out. The magnitude of his past threatens to destroy everything important to Auburn, and the only way to get her life back on track is to cut Owen out of it.
The last thing Owen wants is to lose Auburn, but he can?t seem to convince her that truth is sometimes as subjective as art. All he would have to do to save their relationship is confess. But in this case, the confession could be much more destructive than the actual sin?

This book was absolutely amazing. The beginning is lengthy, of course. You have to describe backgrounds and understand characters but once you get past that, you're captivated. The way this book made me feel was so powerful. I cried, a lot. This is one amazing book Colleen!!!

This book is great, almost brought me to tears at the end. Definitely one of my favorites by Colleen Hoover. I also appreciate the few pages of art in the book. Will be definitely be keeping on my shelf as a trophy.

I’m actually unimpressed. The character’s personality, thoughts, etc. felt forced, very unauthentic. I wish it flowed better. After attempting to read & reread this book four times, I’m just moving on. Maybe the next one I come across will be better.
Must read!

You feel so many emotions reading this book. Love, sympathy, anger & laughter. Everything ties in together like a puzzle peice. This was a satisfying read.

She is the redhead blueprint of Colleen Hoover’s books from It ends with us. I truly loved this book and it’s crazy how it all happens in later a week or two! Great story definitely a must read!

I’m giving this 5 stars because it ends with a good tying together of every detail. However, it did take me a bit to really “get into it” and it wasn’t until halfway through that I found myself looking forward to where things were headed next. A slower start compared to Verity which was my first read of Colleen Hoover’s, but the two are very different. I read Verity in 4 days and loved the thrilling excitement of each chapter. I immediately purchased 5 more of CoHo’s books and chose ‘Confess’ as my next read. I finished Confess in 2 days and while it was a slower start, I really enjoyed the second half and the way she tied it all together. On to my next CoHo novel, “It Ends with Us”
So good!

Loved the story line, cute ending. Of course it was a happy ending as usual lol. But to put into perspective I did not care for Verity so we may not have the same opinion on some CoHo books.
Not one of her best

It was okay, I wish the actual story line of how he knew Auburn hit harder. The beginning of the book made it seem like it was something dramatic, but it wasn’t. It had a softer ending than I expected
Great read

I feel like CoHo’s audience is geared towards high school women with the way she writes. Her characters are kind of quick-to-fall in love, everything seems so dramatic and just so not realistic. If that’s what you’re into, you may like this book… all of her books remind me of something you’d watch on Lifetime Movie Network. Super cheesy and the men in all of her books including this one are just too romantic to be realistic. About this book specifically, it was okay. Not one of her strongest books, the plot fell a little flat and seemed a bit all over the place.
So good!!
