Q: How do we insert the bottom shelf? The instructions are not clear on where the brackets attach and screws go

A: The shelf must be placed while the table is upside down. and they should bed screw on while upside down as well.

Color was way off from the pictures on line. Online it showed a light gray with a hint of light teal throughout the gray. Super nice and excited by the online pictures because it would go great with my flooring and teal accents. The one I received was almost black with super dark teal throughout it. I didn’t want to even pull it out of the box because of the horrible color I was seeing and the disgust of being lied to by pictures on line. I took it out just to see what it would be like in my foyer and it instantly darkened my entryway. Do not buy this item. Faults beside this horrible wrong color are: feels cheap like plastic instead of wood, light weight feeling so it doesn’t feel sturdy, and it shipped 3 weeks later. Plus’s are: that it was packaged well and no damages, I did not assemble due to the color issue, but looks easy to put together. It was the perfect size for my area around 42” wide it was. I wouldn’t even pay $10 for this at a garage sale. I will be returning. Price I paid was $319.00

Love it and the colors are perfect.
Knocked it down a star because of the assembly instructions. It shows to put all 4 legs on first before putting the bottom shelf on. Can't do that. The notch on the legs wasn't cut that good and I had to take a leg off in order to get the shelf in place. This caused me to chip the legs because I couldn't get the shelf in.

Wish it wouldn’t have arrived with damaged tabletop corners. I will keep as I still find useful. I can somewhat repair it myself with a little bit of time and paint (shouldn’t have to though). Also the description is off as it does not weigh 72 pounds! It weighs more like 32 pounds which means it’s not as sturdy as I had hoped.
